Liverpool related transfer speculation

Hmm...not sure this was the best solution, but depends on the money and replacement options.
Who knows if they will return.

Seems they’re targeting younger players, so I do t see why they wouldn’t, but like you said, all depends on the replacement.

If Newcastle don’t make CL, I wonder if they’ll need to sell someone?

It’s reassuring that they bid—not just once, but twice—and that Núñez has probably indicated he’s open to the move.

If we’d signed him for £40m, I’d be open to keeping him as a squad player to see if he eventually came good. But as our record attacking signing, who’s been largely benched by both Klopp and Slot? No chance. Hopefully, we can get close to recouping what we paid and find a proper goal machine/sexy attacker instead.

Firmino, Suárez, Torres, Fowler, Owen, Salah, Mané— that’s the standard we should be aiming for. They need to be technically brilliant, or a hell of a finisher, or ideally both. Sadly, Nunez is neither.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in Bournemouth's 19-year-old Spain Under-21 defender Dean Huijsen, who has a £55m release clause in his contract. (TBR Football), external

Liverpool are interested in signing France-born England Under-21 winger Mohamed-Ali Cho, 21, from Nice. (Teamtalk)

For a younger winger, I thought he looked pretty good. By no means anything close to a Salah replacement, despite sharing the name. We kinda filled that squad spot with Chiesa, though, so it's hard to see where a 'project' style winger fits it. The squad is essentially full, so it's always one-in, one-out. Bakayoku to me look a RW with a high ceiling and capable of thriving in the PL, but I can't say I keep a close eye on prospects around Europe.

He doesn’t seem like a sure thing.
What do you mean? I honestly think Hughes has a better list than all of us, its a case of if he uses it. So I expect the signings we make in the summer are going to be better than the players they replace. I know if Gordon, Ramsey, Kev, Morton, Robbo, Diaz and Nunez leave the club should generate £150m+ . Harvey and Doak leave is another £50-70m. So plenty of money.

If you're looking at Ligue 1, Davids and Evann Guessand. I was upset that Davids said he didn't like Liverpool but he is a low risk option. I expect him to be more productive than Nunez and Diaz.
Evann Guessand is a good squad option but he isn't going to set the world alight

What Evann Guessand would cost I could not even guess and he's not very good

Take a wild guess.

Bluebell would transfer his family out of the house and scour YouTube for new members, just to get his fix.
Honestly no... In the summer window, all I asked for is Trent, Salah, and VVDs contract to be renewed, and now only asking for VVDs and Salahs. In the winter I only asked for defensive reinforcements.
The reality is Gordon, Ramsey wont make it. Kev has made it clear he wants 1st team football. There was talk about selling Doak and Harvey both squad options. Diaz isn't committing to a new contract and with Nunez, we came close to selling in the winter window. Robbo has aged and considering what Edwards thought of Hendo, I would imagine he has the same feelings
Have I said anything controversial?

Gordon Ramsay is worth a couple hundred million on his own. Wasn't aware we owned his rights though.
