I'm pretty sure, it was because Quansah was coming through. For many seasons we had Matip, Konate, Virgil, and Gomez as cover. Quansah came through last year and is the "Heir to Matip" if you like, for better or worse. Why buy, when you have what you think as quality talent coming through.

No - he is not "Heir to Matip" - I want another defender and we know that the manager did not want to sell that other young Dutch guy we had to Brentford in the summer. Also I think Gomez should never be sold because he is quality in all back line positions - there are very few players in the world we could find to replace that level of versatility.

Yep, that's true. Churchill is in my home province, I have a friend working there. 100% true. They have local patrols and a "bear jail".

Tourism in the area is built around polar bears, beluga whales and the Aurora.

I believe our plans are contingent upon how many of the three contracts we are able to renew and at what cost. Until we get movement on that, I dont think there will be any transfer activity.

As I say, the reason why so many of our supporters like him is because he's had some excellent performances against us-- but that's not his usual level which is just much more unreliable.
