It certainly would, but TBH I'm not sure it's even possible, not currently anyway. Virgil's nodded off occasionally this season, but on top form (as I reckon he mostly has been) he's literally unmatchable. When he does eventually go, we're going to need to change more than just the back line to make up the difference.

I don’t disagree, but I think a lot would depend on what Slot has to say to the prospect. Slot seems quite direct and trustworthy. If he told me that he had a plan and I would get game time, I think I would believe him. I doubt he promised anything of the sort to our squadies.

We actually did well NOT getting those players, especially Tchoumaini. I like been surprised like 2 seasons ago when we got Mac, Grav, Szobo, and Endo
