Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Naby Keita and Fabinho are both set to make their Liverpool debuts in Saturday's opening friendly against Chester FC.

Guinea international Keita, a £52.75million signing from RB Leipzig, and Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, who cost £40million from Monaco, have been with Klopp's squad since pre-season training started on Monday.

They have impressed at Melwood this week and are expected to feature against the National League North outfit at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

Klopp will use at least 22 players in Saturday's game with no-one expected to feature for more than 45 minutes.

Asked whether fans can look forward to seeing the pair in action during the game, Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: “Yes, hopefully.

“We still have two or three sessions until we play, unfortunately in football a lot of things can happen. But if nothing happens then they will play of course.

If thats true both need fucking off.
They need to be playing for a team who can afford to have them fit for 10 games a season. Whos aspirations are mid table.

Thats a joke. Just go now.

Yeah, I think the goodwill has officially run out for lallana

Not convinced Matip ever had any

Too true, you can't make any plans around a center half that is never fit. Same for Lallana, big fan, but the injuries are too frequent and its taking too long to get back to form if it's even possible anymore.

Or are they out because they've just returned to training and arent fit yet?

Edit: As I thought, Matip hasnt been involved in anything bar the running part so far, will return to full training next week.
Lallana is ill though

Matip and his 50p shaped head can fuck off. Too injury prone and for a guy his height he's pretty shit in the air and a bit of a pussy physically. I've time for lallana but this is a big season for him. He's now got some serious competition this season so he needs to raise his game to another level if he wants to play regular.

Just realised that I'm at BST in Hyde Park on Saturday.

They'd best have some screens showing the game. Fucking hell.

I don’t think the attendees in Hyde park would give a shit about Chester v Liverpool

Nah they're not showing it mate. My friend is going and already checked.

Unfortunately for football fans attending The Cure’s gig at BST in Hyde Park, London on Saturday, the festival have confirmed to NME that they will not be showing the game.

Grrrrrreat.

The fucking Cure as well. They must have demanded the footy wasn't shown as no-one apart from thirty menopausal goths would want to watch them.

Well, I'm hopeful I won't still be there when they're on, as the wife really wanted to see Interpol and Editors, rather than The King of The Goths.

Doesn't really help with the fucking football though.

You should have gone on the Friday and watched Waters. Poor planning.
