No Touré, no Sturridge (That's not Sturridge, it's Ojo)

Bib theory line up:

Mignolet, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Moses, Aspas.

Other than the Studge missing that's a good team.

Bib theory might be accurate on Friday for a Saturday game but I am not sure if the same applies on Friday for a Monday evening kick off.

Laudrup has been reading the unofficial list of Fergie advice. No. 12: Be a cunt....

Michael Laudrup admits he is surprised by the fact that Daniel Sturridge is set to feature for Liverpool against his Swansea side on Monday night.
The 24-year-old, who pulled out of England's World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine, has been named in Brendan Rodgers' squad for the trip to the Liberty Stadium for the Sky Live clash.
"I was a little surprised," he said. "We talk about a young player, a huge talent, and I am sure he would have played in a crucial game (for England) the other day.
"But he was injured and yet 48 hours later he is fit to play against us. I hope he plays as I want to play against Liverpool with their best players.
"But when we talk about England and young players and the importance of the game (in Ukraine), I was surprised to read less than 48 hours after such a crucial game that he is fit to play against us.
"I thought there were some rules that if you were injured you couldn't just play with your team three of four days later.

"But that's none of my business, I am just taking care of Swansea."
Sturridge has been key to Liverpool's victories in their first three Premier League games and Laudrup has been impressed by their start.
"They have had a great start, three games and nine points," he said.
"I like the way they play, you can see how they want to play and it was clear during the second half of last season.
"They are very good in possession and have brought in some very good players like Philippe Coutinho, Iago Aspas and Sturridge."

Brendan regarding Sturridge injury:

"I think if it was a Saturday game, he may well have struggled but that extra wee bit of time gives him a chance to play. I would suspect he will hopefully be fit. He won't be 100 per cent fit, but we'll see."

Brendan regarding Allen, Cissokho and Touré:

He said: "Joe has trained with the team today. He looked good this morning and is certainly fighting for a place on Monday.

"Kolo is with our physiologists and is working well. He should be available for Monday.

"Cissokho is still a few weeks away yet, but working hard."

Playing Sturridge is worth the risk. He's given us 9 points so far this season and I'd like to see that become 12.

Our team looks shit without Sturridge or Suarez.

Sturridge owes England nothing. He got injured for them in his last match and missed pre-season as a result. As a club we can't afford that to happen again so risking him when he's not 100% for England would have been foolish.

Also Laudrup comes across as a tool. 'I want to play Liverpool's best players', and in then in the next line complains we might be starting our free-scoring striker.

What is a physiologist doing with a football player? Should it not be a physiotherapist?

Did Shelvey just call MRI 'something like a MIR'?
Footballers probably get more MRI, CT, and Xray during their careers than any of us throughout our lifetime.
Clever chap.

I think we'll see this:

------------------------Mignolet
Wisdom-----Skrtel------Agger-------Enrique
----------------Gerrard------Lucas
----Henderson----Coutinho-------Moses
--------------------------Aspas

With Moses and Henderson swapping occasionally.

Sturridge and Sakho will be on the bench.
