Sturridge = Class, Matchwinner, legend in the making...

Chelsea = Dickheads for selling him...

It was stressful as fuck during the second half. Were we inviting them to attack or simply had no way of controlling the game?

Wisdom did a good job standing in for Johnson. Henderson was effective in defence as well. And thank God we had Mignolet in goal.

We've started this season getting wins in games we'd have lost or drawn before. If we keep this up, a CL place is on like Donkey Kong.

The thing I enjoyed about the game the most today was how cool Sturridge looked on the ball. It didn't matter how many Utd players he was facing off, it always looked like he had all the time in the world and you were never in fear of him losing it.

Can't wait for Suarez to come back.

Grinding out result against teams we would struggle to do so last season..

staying cautiously optimistic though... we need more guile in midfield..

I wrekon one of these defenders could be playing DM, Sahoko..

Three wins out of three.
Three clean sheets out of three.
First time in our history.

That has got to count for something.

Happy for Daniel, he looked proud as punch when applauding the fans.

We took it to them in the first 20 and came away with a goal. Next 20 were a bit of a stalemate and we looked a bit second best for the last 45. But we've got 3 more points, the mancs got nothing. Job done.

Only sour note was Johnson getting injured though the timing with an international break coming up was pretty good. Hope he's back quickly - he was outstanding I thought.

Oddly enough I thought Johnson was average going forward, his touches were slightly off and the ball seemed to bounce in his favour rather than under his control. In defense he was immense. Shame about the injury, hopefully he'll recover during the international break.

- Skittles - if this is his last game, I'm always going to remember him positively now. It's what I told Mark earlier - it's the mark of a good player how you respond in these circumstances. Compare his professionalism and dedication to that of Rooney earlier this year when Studge scored. Fantastic performance from him -

- Mingolet - I thought he played very well. He's going to be a good one as he matures.

- Henderson - he didn't come close to scoring, or assisting on anything, but his work ethic and non-stop harassement of Manure players was fantastic. He plays with his heart on his sleeve and wants to succeed here. I think he's made Joe Allen expendable - which considering how highly Rodgers thinks of him, it's phenomenal.

- Aspas - he looked clumsy, but his work rate and help in the first 60 minutes was first class. I thought he had a few harsh fouls whistled against him, but that's life. The next Dirk?

- Coutinho - People will say this was a bad performance, and by his standards, it may have been. But he workd his socks off, scared the shit out of manure and wasn't in awe of the game at all. His swagger and belief was made evident by his interview, "Who the fuck are you? We're Liverpool"

- Sturridge ... A legend in the marking. So many slammed his attitude, claimed he couldn't do anything. A young lad, finally getting his chance and CARRYING the team. 4 games, 4 game winning strikes. Keep it up kid.

- Sterling - needs to bulk up ... but credit to him, he didn't stop fighting.

- A team will often express themselves how their manager acts ... Rodgers has been cool, and confident this year, and the team responded. Look at how disjointed this Manure outfit looks overall. They dominated the 2nd half and didn't really threaten us bar maybe RvP half chance, which Mingolet had covered. Moyes looks a bit intimidated by his position, and the shadow of Slur Alex is going to be nearly impossible to rid from his tenure there. It won't happen this year, but I think in 2-3 years time, this team will start taking the same path we did under Souness ...

- I don't get how Welbeck, Cleverly etc get off abusing the ref like that ... It was ridiculous, and I'm surprised he was so calm with his cards. Van Persie should have been sent off (yes, Agger did it 1st early on but not in sight of the refs) and Cleverely's intentional foul from behind on Coutinho was borderline red too. They're a bunch of cocky twats - I hope they start imploding the cunts.

- RvP ... if he's not on, they're a beatable team.

- 3 straight 1-0 wins ... You can sense we're on the right path ... a young, hungry team - united around their manager, who's maturing every single week. We're a tough team to beat already - and we've yet to add Luis Suarez to the line up ... Fucking hell boys, LET'S DREAMS ... and all you moaning fucking "Look at Tottenham" doubters, ENJOY THIS and post about them next week.

Moyes looked older than Ferguson at the end there.

Could not bear the tension after 20 minutes. Needed something to distract me. Started chopping vegetables and cooking.

Negatives - did not focus on the game as I would have liked to.

Positives - Have Dhaal and Rice ready now. Will watch the game once more with a nice decent lunch 🙂
