I'm absolutely chuffed.
Loved it, fucking loved it.
Some thoughts:
Immense performance by Skrtel. If this is his last game for Liverpool he's gone out with a bang. What a hero!
Henderson worked his socks off for 90 mins. Fantastic in the 2nd half.
Agger,Lucas and Johnson, who everyone seems to love to criticise, did well.
What happened in the 2nd half?
United started pressuring us high up the pitch and we couldn't hold on to the ball.
Looked like we were heading for a another disaster.
Despite what Ross says we desperetely need Suarez. This the third time in a row that a team bullied us in the 2nd half because we couldn't hold on to the ball.

Thats all well and good except that Suarez is dreadful at keeping the ball, he surrenders possession more frequently than any other player on the team so while his return would definitely give us another dimension up front its highly unlikely we will retain the ball better with him in the team
Aspas was fucking garbage.
Lucas showed some consistency, making shit tackles in dangerous positions and putting people under pressure with half hit passes. But he did make some great challenges to break up play.

Yeah but they would respect him though. Sterling didn't do much better.

Startled at how Moyes was, er, Moyes - he just hasn't changed, even though he has this better squad, and mentality, at his disposal. I half expected it, but couldn't quite believe he'd be that dogmatic.
Rodgers needed to win this and he won it. Massive pressure on him, and he coped. Full marks to him.

Lucas had a good game but the amounts of stupid free kicks he gives away are annoying.

Really? I thought he changed his attitude about three times, pretty cynically. He caused more problems than he solved.
