This game once against confirmed that 3 at the back is really suicide against our front 3. It took us 20 minutes to figure out how to get past their midfield, but once we did they were dead. I would be very surprised if they don't switch to the back 4 for the return leg.
Bad news for us is that in the possible final, neither Real nor Bayern are likely to repeat the mistakes of Pep and Di Francesco.

That was arguably the best 45 mins of football 25-70 I've ever seen from us.
Some were worried that Roma had a good defence.
I knew they didn't travel well and even though they started superbly they couldn't sustain it.
Salah showed his finishing is on another planet to Mane, who should have lifted it over the keeper too. That level of composure and awareness is rediculous.
Lovren getting a raw deal in my opinion. He was excellent for 80 minutes and that all was superb, it literally had an undefendable trajectory in terms of heading it clear which Lovren couldn't have known when it was first hit.
As for those worried about the return leg, relax.
Roma have scored 8 goals in 5 games at home with 3 coming against a team who turned up thinking they had won.
We won't make that mistake.
Also bar Barca the other games have all been tight 1-0 or 2-0 games where they have sat back and defended first, against us they will be terrified of us and even if they start strong again and press high and fast and score, they will fade at some stage and we'll pounce.
We'll beat them and be back where we belong in the final.

He did superbly for his first chance bar the finish, he worked tirelessly tracking back, he scored and constantly showed for the ball and wanted it even when he was fucking up.
I absolutely Fucking love him for that. So many players would have hid in that screnario.
