The only reason this goal really matters at all is because of the fluke penalty to follow. 5-2 feels so much worse than 5-1. Still a bad goal to gift, but made worse by the next.
To be fair to Lovren, our midfield also capitulated in last 10 minutes providing much more pressure on the backline then we should have allowed.
Still a bad mistake, but amplified elsewhere.
They have put in plenty of miles the last 3 weeks each and everyone of them. Which is why I find it hard to justify any of them 3 we have left to burn more energy in the weekend. We need those six legs fresh and ready for Rome.
Good News for us. Big weekend for Roma as they take on Chievo at home. Chievo fighting for their lives. Later saturday eve Inter take on Juve. Their saturday is Critical.
We need 3 points against Stoke. It's a fine balance.
I didn't see Perotti show any signs of injury during the match. I doubt he'll be absent ... and he made a big difference when he came on so it would be nice if he were missing.

Especially interesting when before the game Roma's style of play was compared to Ours. They like high pressing, quick turnovers and make the opponent run for their Money. And still they were totally blasted off the Pitch.
Very interesting to see that Roma's average position seem to lean towards attacking our left side of defence. Other teams have targeted the right side With TAA and Lovren. Either Trent really impressed them in the City games or they tried to Close Down Salah.
It was so clear that a 7 or more goals bet was practically free money!
