I met a whole family of them once - Completely nice and she cooked a mean Sunday lunch but they were a bit a weird at the same time. I remember thinking that the husband was some cuckold strangoid and was completely fine about his wife flirting outrageously with me and my best mate who was going out with their daughter at the time. Colin Shindler is the only sane one I've met. He's appealingly pessimistic and amusing. (And no, before someone says it, he's not mad on lists.)
There is a bit of a myth about him, though. I don't question he's a good manager and one who improves players, but Son was already a club record signing in Germany, with plenty of experience and praise, when he was signed - he was hardly some mere piece of putty that Poch magically crafted into life. Eriksen, likewise, was already a very good player - he's improved, true, but again hardly the result of Poch's strange alchemy. Alli already had us and others excited about his potential when Poch paid more for him - THAT was why he went there, nothing to do with Gerrard's alarm clock - and who's to say how much more slowly or quickly he would have developed if Rodgers and then Klopp had worked with him. So, we can acknowledge that Poch is a good manager but frankly the hype around him is getting a bit grating.

Redcafe has obviously pride themselves as being fans who respect the ref whatever happens and complaining about him is something only Liverpool fans does. This attitude has of course grown through the period where there is no way in hell even the ref could steal anything from their abysmall performances. And on the first hurdle after the golden boy coming to save the bestest and biggest Club in the world the og bananas on the ref..... Amusing. But what is even more amusing is the hatred towards Di Maria. A few real good ones there (and this is a guy that played for about 1 season without making any impact on the Club)…:
