They can win the fa cup and the carbao cup as long as we win the league.

They can also beat Shalke and progress to the next round to keep their mind off the league.
Even if they manage to win the Champs league as long as we win the league thats all that matters.
It would grate them so much that it's us who won the league taking away their glory of winning the champ league.

Pep is a bit weird and might just sack it all off if they won the champ league. He doesn't look like he has any fun at all doing that job

Pep should've just stayed at Barca where he belongs instead of doing this travelling football philosopher routine.

Just wait till he ends up at PSG (for another "Challenge" like Ronaldo did with Juve) or Juve ...
I'd actually like to see him take a Milan to try and challenge him against a giant like JUve.

Pochettino must have asked to sign someone or he's cracked under the annoyance of constantly being asked about it. These are the signs that he might be considering of he can take them any further.

Reading bluemoon, they're saying all their fullbacks are shit 😱 didn't pep spend like 100mill in just 1 window on new ones?!

One lunatic on Bluemoon is fed up with football after last night. WTF... They can't handle the pressure. They should know what travelling through divisions mean and where the soul of football are, but after being given a setback in the League one season he is fed up? Fuck him and his plastic flag.

That’s City fans for you now.

Everyone that has a bad game must be replaced with the most expensive player in humanity.

It’s the only way they can save football for us all.

I am very confident about tomorrow ... expecting us to win by 5 or 6 goals.

It's true. I suspect that, once you've achieved total self-adoration, as he's done, there's no external stimuli that can add to your sense of self-worth, so the world starts to feel very dull and uninspiring.

I look forward to them prioritising the CL only to be knocked out by us in the semis.
My god, if we were to hold on to win the league, the only way it could get even sweeter is if we were to meet City in the CL Final, and beat them there too, sure it's an incredibly high risk game, but if it were to go down like this I might just have to give up football afterwards, we'd have reached mecca, the pinnacle, it couldn't get better.

Someone said this a few weeks ago, but I'll repeat it.

Pep is a fairweather in game manager. When his team are playing sexy football and winning easily, he is jumping about the technical area shouting and pointing instructions. When they are playing shite, drawing or losing, he slumps back in his seat with his arms folded looking miserable.

Sort of the opposite of what you need from a manager during a match

Yep, he absolutely hates playing under pressure. He's not used to it at all, & TBH his players seem to reflect that attitude on the pitch too.

Appaz they've all decided that only reason they're not walking the league is that City don't spend enough money. I shit you not. They're saying they win the league, then don't spend any money in the window straight after, so that's why they go to shit. Nevermind the billion quid they've spent on players. All these players must have a 1 season use by date on them.

He's really embarrassing himself these days. One of the great things about Klopp is how he rises above it all and never seems inclined to snipe at other managers, even though they sometimes line up to have a pop at him - Poch, Maureen, Allardyce, Dyche, Warnock, Guardiola, Saint Chris of Hughton, the list goes on. He never gets praised for it, either.

They're basically bemoaning the fact that we spend it on better players, or get more out of the players we buy, cos we've actually spent less than other teams by a fair bit:

‘Net’ Spend Since Klopp Arrived at Anfield
Man City – £404m
Man United – £320m
Chelsea – £208m
Arsenal – £162m
Liverpool – £126m

They've had a net spend of about £50m since Pochettino took over, and bought NOBODY in summer. We invested the Coutinho money superbly well, but let's not pretend that we don't spend miles more than Spurs on transfer fees and also wages.

Add current ave salaries to that:

1. Man U 6.5m
2. Man C 5.9m
3. Chelsea 5.0m
4. Liverpool 4.8m
5. Arsenal 4.8m
6. Spurs 3.5m

Chelsea are really suffering from that utterly disastrous transfer window of 2017/8.

Lost Costa, and paid over £180m on Morata, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Drinkwater and Rudiger, with only the latter actually playing.

The primary reason we've spent loads of money is because we keep losing our best players.

Spurs also went on a "spending spree" when they sold Bale and as with us (in the past), the results were mixed.

Last summer wasnt much better

Seem like the RedCafe is shitting it more than BlueMoon if we are to win the title?

Somone posted atweet saying Arnautovic (Not Maradona, Messi or ZIdane) was out of the West Ham-Liverpool game monday. A glorious answer going like:

Unbelievable. I think these feckers have won atleast 9 points this season by sheer luck or fluke.

Them winning the title is like that asteroid which periodically arrives to destroy all life on Earth and reset. Had to happen at some point, but if given a choice, I'd much prefer their title winning manager to be someone like Benitez as opposed to Klopp who's just waiting to kickstart a cringefest of quotes and expressions. Though it could be worse if Gerrard had still been playing I Guess.

Another backed it up with

[bcolor=transparent]Every fecking thing goes in their favor so far this season. From football to non-football terms, they are lucky, get easy penalties, win games that don't deserve to win etc, etc. It is just ment to be I guess. [/bcolor]
