Yea these brazilians will struggle in Europe and downing would get a game for Barcelona.

I think he would actually as I fear Barca would not know what to do if Xavi and Iniesta were out injured. Seriously - you should not get so emotional over that Brazil team. I fell in love with football after watching the 82 Brazil team, and having followed that nations players for years I can tell you that the number of match-winners in that team and the skill level of the players they produced between 1994-2006 has gone down considerabley. At one time they had a generation that included Ronaldo, Rivlaldo, Ronaldhinio, Kaka ( and there were many others during that era) - all match winners, but I don't see that many match winners in that team.

I'd rather see Luis play in the final so that the rest of the team can get their act together and start looking like something other than a one man team.

I don't really think Sturridge, bar the goal, was that good. He holds onto the bar far too long - and looks for the difficult pass over the easy pass more often than not. Granted, great goal but I can't see him fitting into the Sinclair/Dyer role in Rodgers' 4-3-3.

I think he'd play CF if we signed him.

With his goal today, Moussa Konate lad has scored 5 goals in 4 matches. Good fightback from Senegal from 2-0 down to equalize 2-2.

Yeah I heard West Ham are looking at him for £1.5m. That's like loose change to Premier League clubs.

dos Santos just put Mexico into the lead.

Plays for Maccabi Haifa. Can see him being bought after the Olympics

Why are all the media saying this? He plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv! I've watched him a few times here - he's never seemed remotely capable of scoring at this rate, or being this much of a nuisance. He's a good 'risky' signing, but I guess considering the success of the last African hot shot striker bought to England from Israel, worth the try.

Shame we didnt spend the Torres money (approx 16-20 mill) on Leandro Damaio, and not Carroll.

The lad shits goals.

commentators (NBC albeit) saying "Giggs wasn't starting because of a hamstring issue," but it's more because he's been so bloody average. He's been poor again so far.
One can tell Ramsey is a talented lad, but the amount of poor passes he makes every game is startling.
