Shame about the GB result - I was enjoying watching their progress in the Olympics. I really hope Brazil don't win it.
 
USA women vs Canada women is a great game! Up n' down. Rapinoe scores from a corner to level scores for US, some Canadian (the female drogba) heads an unstoppable ball in, Rapinoe scores a peace of a shot from just inside the box and then corner, and that Drogba gal scores her 3rd with a fantastic header ... 3-2 with 15 to go

Never seen that call in the Men's game ... keeper took too much time and ref gave a FK ... harsh ... Canadian girl turns her back ball hits her, penalty and Wambach scores (her 15,000th goal). 3-3

Did the keeper, hold the ball for too long or what?

Remember when Reina was judged to have handled the ball outside the penalty area against Bolton.
 
It happenedto us in the European Championships vs Yugoslavia aswell in 2000. They scored we were out.

I could have killed someone that night.
 
It's odd - this game has contained more late fouls (after the ball is released) and the ref just lets most of them go.
 
and another one! a tackle that was inches from breaking Scott's leg and the ref SEES it and let's it go on ... WTF?!?!
 
This has been one of the best games I've seen in a while - yeah, the quality is obviously below what we're used to watching, but the commitment to winning, some of the passing and the non-stop up n' down footy has been fun to watch.
 
I can't fucking believe they let that slip ... The US scores in added time of the last half of extra time ... Their first lead of the game ... GO JAPAN!!!
 
Mexico win. What a horrendous display from the Manc Rafael.

Dwells on the ball too much and gives it away for the first goal.

Repeats the same mistake in the second half. Handbags with Juan and then taken off.

I really can't remember if they're both knob ends.
 
Mexico won the Fifa U17 World Cup last year and came up 3rd in the U20 World Cup, behind Brazil and Portugal. They won the 2012 Toulon Youth Football Tournament earlier this year too. Interesting to see how many of these youngsters make it to the top.
 
I wonder if Rodgers or the board has vetoed the Marco Bueno transfer.
He should have joined the team by now.
