Agreed. I'd say that we are missing Lucas but that's not quite the issue.

We give the ball away cheaply too much and our pressing game and defensive shape are awful. That's a job for Rodgers to solve. Not one player.

Yea but in the case where they actually scored surely as we were all over the place and the keeper had the ball in his hands he could hold up a minute, let us get organised or slow things down and then pass to his own player. Not get all excited like a dickhead and bowl the ball to the opposition while we're still all over the place.

TBH I'm not a major fan of putting right-footers on the left (or vice versa), not where attacking players are concerned anyway. I don't much like the way it narrows your attacking play. Brendan Rodgers may take a different view though.
