So did any one attend a lower league match today?

I visited the Arriva Stadium to watch Marine lose 3-2 to Worksop. That place is freezing at the best of times, and today was no better. It was free to enter with an ST from any football league club. That probably accounted for half of the 604 people there!

The quality wasn't too great, as to be expected, more Crosby League than Premier League. Saying that, half on the lads on Marine's books will probably be playing as ringers on Buckley Hill tomorrow.

Despite the lack of quality, it was still enjoyable. 5 goals, one bad tackle and a single dive towards the end when Marine were really chasing it. Even the calls from the players are as I expect on a Sunday league pitch.

A lot of respect for the away fans, they must love the club to have coach trips to games like that.

That's Marine's first loss this season. They knocked my local team out of the FA Cup last weekend.

I had a season ticket from 06/07 to part way through 11/12. I seen a good team in that time.
