I think this is the year that Donovan and Andy validate what they have done together. They aren't too reliant on teh deep ball LTW. They really do a lot very well (Deseany didnt have a big gain play today) and most importantly Brian Westbrook is completely rested for the playoffs and has these two games to get some rhythm.
Chargers vs. Eagles in the Super Bowl is the pick I am gonna go for.
I hope that we get rid of Sheridan and not Osi.[/quote]
So one game ... When the Cowboys shut them down, we gave them short passes and they struggled. Granted, they didn't have Westbrook (who as you say, is going to be a key player for them IF he's 100% mentally - which going by his interviews the past week, he is slightly concerned about his future) but still. The funny thing is the two 'hottest' teams are the Cowboys and Eagles and I think overall, they're stronger outfits (when on form) than the Saints and Vikings. I wouldn't be surprised at all if your Super Bowl pick comes to fruition though I could see the Steelers (if they make it) or Ravens beat the Chargers.
I hope the Giants lose Osi - in fact, he really hinted at it yesterday which was great.
Oh and what a way for the Giants to close out Giants Staidum. I heard too many Giants fans laughing at the way we closed our stadium (& season) last year but this tops it ...
Wrt Cowboys, there are some very worrying signs for me:
1) Barber isn't the player he was 2 years ago and shouldn't be taking more carries than Choice.
2) 3rd/4th and 1 seems to be an issue - Garrett, work it out.
3) Roy Williams has worse hands than TO!
