the Celtics player?

That's Paul.

This is a starting LB

Really pissed at Plaxico

He'll probably never pull on the blue again and never win anything again.

Avram, Eli made many plays in the playoffs including one of the greatest in the history of the NFL.

We couldn't really run against the Packers so Eli took control in freezing cold temperatures in the cathedral of football. Thanks to the aforementioned Plax he threw for 254 yards. The running game only sealed the win off after Eli had controlled and dissected the Packers defense

Eli will win more than Dilfer, Favre, and Romo.

I can't wait to see who we pick up of draft over the summer to replace Plax

Though Favre is an immeasurably better QB than Manning.

It says something about a fan who rates GB's defense as 'daunting', even in their own place.

Next thing, the fan will tell me the Giants are the bestest team ever and should be ranked alongside the Patriots, Cowboys, Niners, Steelers and Pack as the greatest dynasty teams of all time.

LeT... you missed the 2008 Lions from that list..
[/quote]

I knew I missed one team ... Sorry mate

Eli is better than hes given credit for.
And their D is super.
They werent a fluke last year, and will take some stopping.
For a team with the added pressure that being from new york brings, theyve been terrific.

Agreed.

I think the planets are alligning for a Giants Vs Steelers rematch in February.

Of course, there's a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way to go before then...

What 'added pressure'? Very few picked them to contend for the Super Bowl, or play this way (even Assulin thought the season was over once that DE's ACL snapped). That's all the motivation they needed probably ...

Yet to be seen seeing how Manning is 27 even though I think that will remain true. But as a Giants fan I will be much happier with Manning then I would have been with Favre because Manning will win more.

Look at the stats for GB's defense last year. Look at their secondary (its widely considered the most talented in the league) top 10 in most defensive statistics last year.

the media pressure in New York is what he was talking about because it is by far the hardest place to play. Loosing Osi and Strahan should have crippled our defense. It didn't and I am so glad for that. I wasn't expecting this year. But the pressure of being un underrated super bowl champion isn't that little. They had to prove themselves.

I love the turnaround possibilities in the NFL. Matt Ryan is a stud - amazing QB. Its fun saying that about a rookie QB thats usually unheard of

I never want to win a game more than the Cowboys.

like that super bowl in 1995? man, if only neil o'donnell hadn't pulled a 'Longest Yard' stunt.

i look forward to you rubbing it in then tomorrow, ok? (notice, i didn't end a sentence with no? in over 1 mth)

Giants have been horrible today ... and I mean horrible. Their offense? Shit. Their defense? Couldn't stop a two man offense on 3rd down 75% of the time.

Now Plaxico isn't the reason they won't win today - they were dogshit, like those lovable douche bag Giants of old - but perhaps the events of last week (The shooting, Pierce's concealing of the weapon and then squealing to the authorities) have caused quite a bit of damage to the Giants' ego and lockeroom. This could be what the whole NFC was praying for ... a 'chance'.
