Cowboys are a mess because they are the most disfunctional locker room and team around.

You obviously don't follow football much but their injury list contributes more to their problems now than anything else.

And I don't follow college football, I'm not interested in it until draft time.

ok, then know this, Colt McCoy wont be a great NFL QB, but he has an 81% completion percentage right now which is absolutely amazing and stunnign. all credit is due. Also the injuries of course have a lot to do with it, but your team has the skill on the field to manage with it the reason they can't is they are disfunctional. And bro dont question my football following. I watch about 2-4 games a week, watch nfl live almost every day. Also its about time Romo did what Manning did, take control and become the leader of his team for reals, and maybe not cough up the ball so much and when ever the pressure gets piled on

Just finished watching a fantastic defensive display from the Boys in their 13-9 win of the Bucs, a rival for the ... wild card spot. Although the TD drive had 3 'questionable' calls, it was the defense that won the game. Just tough and no prisoner attitude. The season is long, but this was a good sign ...

Big props to Mike Jenkins ... He seems to be maturing very quickly and may just be a very good partner for TN

anything from Roy?
[/quote]

the all important TD catch and the 'longhorn' sign after scoring it ... He is going to 'blow up' once he links up with Romo.

I think the Giants are better than them right now, amigo...

And yet strangely enough, I have a feeling that you'll upset them this weekend - Don't know why, 'cos God knows that you shouldn't, but there you go.

You're not alone there - but then again, I thought the Cowboys could be Super Bowl challengers and well, I was a wee bit wrong there.

If Brad Johnson cannot throw the ball deep, the Giants will win this because we can't rely on our defense to hold the Giants to 9 pts ... It will be an interesting game though and a win for the 'Boys would all but make the NFC East open for anyone 'again' ... A win for the Giants, and the division should be wrapped up.

What happened to the 49ers

As a kid i remember the great teams at San Francisco
Rice,Craig,Montana,Young,Lott etc its just in the last season or two iv got back into the game and the Niners are nowhere.
Is their any hope of them getting great again anytime soon.

Re: What happened to the 49ers

No.

They're amoung the very worst teams out there, with little or no true, star players around whom they could rebuild.

Add to that a rookie coach, who is as likely to make his players go on strike as he is to turn them around, and I think we're looking at a Raiders-esque wilderness for San Fran over the next several years.

Re: What happened to the 49ers

i disagree, they have frank gore, patrick willis and nate clement, you have to get better in almost every other position

Re: What happened to the 49ers

They are indeed rubbish, though I can't really say much. The last time my team were good Billy Liddell was still playing for Liverpool.

What do you disagree with..?

Those three, and the positions that they play in, are not nearly enough to rebuild that team around.

predictably, boys lost to the G-men ...

I only watched the 1st half however - and think that when the team gets healthy, we'll be able to have a good end of season run to make the playoffs. The Giants were not that impressive and if that's the best the Giants have to offer (again, basing this on the 1st half), then I think the Boys can finish 10-6 and squeeze into the playoffs on a wildcard.

Anyone else still want to argue who the best team in Football is? It's the Titans, no questions asked.

I think that the Giants are better than Tennessee, my friend.

They have beaten the Steelers in Pittsburg, the Eagles and the Cowboys (diminished as they were). If they both played right now, it'd be close, but I'd take New York.

Maybe the were the team to beat to start the season after all, eh?

Did you know that in Bill Cowhers 15 years at Pittsburgh, no team won more games than us.
How bout that.

Giants demolished the Ravens, rushing all over the best rush defense in the league. We topped 200 yards, which hasnt been done against them since 97. Also Brandon Jacobs had 70 yards and 2 scores in the first quarter then took the day off. His minimum run is like 4 yards and max is 35. He never gets tackled by the first man and is a completely unique entity in the nfl.

Avram - who is the best team in the nfl = Giants, not the Titans because your broken down team didnt look half bad against us in the first half.

if you can't build a team around one of the best rb in the league, the best mlb, and one of the best cbs in the league. two of those guys (the more important ones) are under 25. Plus the duo of Martz and Singletary is very good as coaches. The team could really be built up from here. Just needs good moves by the coaches.

BIG win for the Cowboys ... The way they celebrated TDs and 4th quarter stops leads me to believe the bye weekend was exactly what the team needed.

Oh, Titans 10-0

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The NFL is giving Adam "Pacman" Jones another chance.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday the suspended cornerback has been reinstated by league commissioner Roger Goodell, but he must miss two more games -- this Sunday and the following game on Thanksgiving. He'll be back Dec. 7 at Pittsburgh.

"He much appreciates the Cowboys and Jerry Jones for standing behind him and encouraging him, and he's grateful to the commissioner," said Worrick Robinson, Adam Jones' Nashville-based attorney.

IF and it's a HUGE if, this kid can stay healthy and focused and free of trouble, he can be a phenomenal player ... He's still got 'time' on his side age wise but one more fuck up, and he's done.
