Trufax. Best display from him since he signed, can't recall a mistake and his workrate was superb. He won the ball back dozens of times chasing back a lost cause which other players had given up on.

He was off fucking side three times looking along the line! And he gave the ball away loads. Johnson was my Motm.

I wasn't getting at you with my comment, other people are saying he was shite, which he clearly wasn't.

As I've said plenty of times, Allen and Şahin were the big key downs today. Not a word has been said about it though.

Sahin was a shitehouse today. And nothing worked for Allen either.

Enrique was very good today. Shame his crossing isnt up to standards.

Tbf we don't exactly cross many balls into the box with us having so few players in there.

You'd often find our full backs and wingers in good positions to cross but they look up and see no-one in there so they turn back and play it into midfield or into Suarez.

Thought Enrique was really good today, lost the ball sloppily at times but kept going and had a strong 2nd half.

Because of the stick he has got on here I was counting his 'errors' in the first half, he gave the ball away twice and was disposed twice (one of which he recovered superbly), hardly a poor performance, and when you consider all the attacking he did and tracking back (there was virtually no threat when he got into the LB position) then it was a whole lot better than 'he was a whole lot better in the 2nd half'. As a lot of people in the MoM thread seem to acknowledge.

I kept an eye on him as well, and I saw him give the ball away three times in about two minutes in the first half, whether it was a misplaced pass, or just dwelling on the ball. The reason I keep an eye on him is because I was a proponent of him signing, and want him to come good again. But that doesn't make me blind to his deficiencies. As I said, he was much, much better in the second half, but to award him Man of the Match was a very strange decision. It's a game of two halves, after all.

I thought we were a little tentative in the first half and were lucky to go in at half time only 1 down. A much better second half, especially when Suso came on and were a little unlucky not to get a second goal. Overall I think the draw was a fair result.

At the end of the game I read the thread from half time and had to laugh at how neurotic we've become. Just as well the Manager, players and fans who turned up kept the faith.

I think the result justifies the team he sent out to Russia too. I know that some was tongue in cheek, but people did say we may as well have played the full team in Russia cos we'd get humped regardless today.

What the hell happened to Allen today. For periods he was by far Chelseas strongest point, and was the architect behind most of their counter attacks. We seriously need to sort out the CM position!!

Dont know if this has been mentioned yet but apperantly our 57% posession is the highest at the Bridge by an away team since 2010.

Nice stat. Shame that the way we keep possession is so ugly to watch, with clueless players nervously getting rid of the ball by kicking it sideways or backwards.

Thank you. Now if only we could stop conceding sloppy goals.
A headed goal was always on the cards when we are without Skrtel, Coates and Carroll - probably our best headers of the ball. Always have to worry about Ivanovic and Terry at set pieces.

That is more like the match I saw (the OPTA stat after the match gave it 52-48 to Chelsea, which I didn't believe, pity we didn't do more with it. OPTA really are shite, they never seem to get anything right).

Did you see the stats on MOTD2?

Our average height was exactly the same as theirs and they had a younger average age.

Surprising.

Carras inclusion probably increased ours a bit.
When Lampard and Cole isnt playing theirs drop.

I was pretty sure they were going to take advantage of the height of our centre backs on set pieces.

Because we have two oldies in Carra and Stevie.

Jones is 30YO

Agger and Skrtel are not exactly spring chicken either

Here we go lol. That he played well, that he brilliantly set up the header for Suarez.

However, Carragher's still on his last legs and can be a liabiltiy if he's in the team which has been evident over the last few years.

It's not a case of disrepecting a Club legend, it's just realising his best days are over and his name on the teamsheet is met with worry. The same as United fans seeing Neville in the team as he was coming towards the end of his career. There's nothing sinister or nasty about it.
Yeah it's nothing like calling Gerrard a cunt.
Eh?
And you love that word liability so ya do.
