Interesting read...very detailed report & you can understand his and any fan caught up in this horrific event, thanks for sharing that 1 TomBo.

A lot seems to coincide with the actions that took place in Paris last year.

Shocking shocking policing. I can understand the story of Porto FC accidentally double selling a bunch of tickets but nonetheless there has to be accountability and
immediate actions to alert fans before making the trip (for Inter fans especially).....the people at the gates need to know what a valid ticket looks like and if there is hundreds/thousands flagging up as invalid then there is CLEARLY a problem with the ticketing system and NOT the poor people that have travelled to watch a game & had to have been reported to senior figures at the game.

Shit or bust time

The more I look at that midfield, the more I see us shipping a load of goals. It’s gonna be a high line and hope the forwards can keep the ball and actually do something with it. Gakpo could be make or break. If he keeps the ball and uses it as well as I think he can, it may just work.

But I don’t think it will.

You could say, let these have the ball and we'll hit them on the break, we've looked much better lately playing counter-attacking footy; and that's just as well with our midfield woes. The problem is going to be getting the ball off them, their midfield could stroll this. Depends on their mentality here, if they look to kill the tie, we might have a chance to get at them. If they play keep-ball, we might struggle.
If they score, our heads will go down, the mentality monsters are gone. So we need to score early to make them twitchy. Not capitalising on that start at Anfield and Allisson gifting them a goal has made this very hard.

Woohoo aren't we just so lucky to watch another hiding.
It was wishful thinking.
You don't have to watch, you can instead help me with overtime and for your efforts I will order a kebab for both of us.

I've been saying since the 1st leg I wasn't gonna bother watching, cause, well we all know it's gonna be a massacre and that's putting it nicely. But I have to. Stranger things have happened.

Wouldn't that, by definition, make you a hypocrite?

We won't even come close to looking like maybe turning it around. We'll hardly have any shots on target.
