By Keita/Milner you mean Keita on for Milner in the second half after he gets a yellow and almost a red? Or Milner on for Keita after he stinks out the place and borrows one of the Madridista white hankeys?

Oh, I should be positive.

Urm. This is a great opportunity, once and for all, for Keita to really show his... you know what, I can't do it.

I was actually hoping for Milner and Keita so that we could play with 12 men.

I just hope we don't leave this game with any new injury problems.

We'll get 2 weeks rest, Diaz back after the break and a save ourselves 4-6 midweek cames before the end of the season. Top 4 should still be in our hands.
Our next 3 league games are city and Chelsea away and arsenal at home. Would assume after those fixtures top 4 will be well out of our hands

Feels like this team has gone from mentality monsters to midgets. I wouldn't be confident about going through if we were 4-0 up at half time, let alone 1-0.

Gakpo to drop into Center mid again and become a mousa dembele type ball shielding, possession holding unplayable skilful lump

Arise Curtis Jones and be the hero we’ve always hoped you could be

At least Harvey isn’t going to be physically intimidated by Modric and Milner isn’t going to feel old.

Come on Donkey Brain - prove you can be as useful as Lord Divock when we need you to.

Our spent force second string vs some master technicians. This is grim.

Can we bring back Gini Wijnaldum just for this one game?

Milner to kick fuck out of Modric and any other cunt he can catch.

That’s exactly our problem - Milner or any other of our second-string midfielders won’t get into the same postcode with Modric, let alone catch him.

One of the deficiencies in Fabinho's play this season has been a lack of winning the ball high up the pitch. It's an indication of how shit our midfield options are, but I'd still aim to have Fab and Milner as a double pivot and hope that Milner can mop up whatever Fabinho doesn't win.

It won't work, but going with a 4-2-4 variant is our best bet I think.

------------------Nunez--------------------
Jota------------Gakpo----------Salah
--------Fabinho-------Milner------------
--Robertson-VVD-Konate---Trent---
-------------------Ali-------------------------

Given the midfield shambles, I would just lump 4 forwards on and pray. Anything to stop Keita playing against Real Madrid.

I think so too, probably with Jota up front and Nunez on the left or interchanging or whatever

Why were you interested in the Barcelona return leg then?

Maybe because we were flying domestically and I remember that 3-0 loss well first leg and as mad as it sounds thought we played pretty well. 3-0 flattened Barca that night.
