TBF, I want to see Lucas have one of those performances against a shit team and help us win. He's been great against the best teams for a long time. Symptomatic if our whole team for awhile. We've beaten Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, and Man City with him in the side before. But can we please beat the shit teams consistently that actually help you win the title with him in the team, not all his fault of course but he does tend to let players bypass him in those games. That game was by far his best performance for us. Not even close, so fair do.

Sad that Carra and Dirk's time has come and is going already.

Just for the record - Lucas is getting to the stage now where I'm willing to accept his consistent first team position. I wouldn't call him world class yet, but I actually wouldn't put it past him for the future.

He was excellent in our win against Bolton. That was one of his best performances for us.

It would have been one of the most unlikely occurunces IMO but I wonder if we're looking at a partnership now which will be remembered as a dominant one for this club in years to come. We're obviously a long, long way from that being the case and they've only just started what would be a very hard road but it'd be kind of funny if this is how it started.
