I know it's early, but it's the biggest match in the Premier League calendar and there is a lot to talk about. I'll get the ball rolling, would you take a draw?

No, I wouldn't take a draw.

That said I'm worried, cos we can only rely on toure to bail us out in set pieces for so long, & traditionally Utd have been strong there, as well as Moyes using it to great effect with Everton.

All that aside though, this is a good time to play them, & we usually raise our game against that lot.

I'd happily take a draw. If either United or Chelsea had taken all 3 points last night, I'd be wanting a win. But the fact that they only got a point each, puts a different complexion on things.

However, if we dominate the game, but are unable to finish the job off (which let's face it, is a real possibility) I'll be fucking pissed off.

Yeah but at Everton he had the personnel to dominate set pieces and in Baines probably the best crosser of a ball in the league, Utd dont have either of those things.

On a related note I had a dream the other night that we won this 2 - 1 with Sterling getting the decisive late goal

No way would I take a draw. While Moyes is still getting settled, there's more at stake than the 3 points and the chance to put some pressure on in his first few games means it's worth having a real go at them.

Yep, I see what you're saying, and I know a couple of Mancs who are saying similar things, it's going to be one of the closer derbies in the long time. The reason I'd be happy to take the draw right now is because losing to this lot would be a huge blow to our early confidence, if we draw against this lot, we'll be continuing our form, and will be either first or second in the league. If we win, it would just be out standing for us, however not losing is essential for me.

We need to get in to these fuckers - they're there for the taking and there should be no fear.

We can win.

Losing would be a lot worse for them than us.

We all have lowered expectations this season, cos we're realistic, most Utd fans will be expecting them to be at least there or thereabouts.

Us giving them a shoeing will damage them a lot more than us & may even heap some early pressure on that bog eyed cunt.

I do agree, there is more for them to lose, but I think a lot of people are underestimating them still, they're still a very good team, a better team than us, and we all know by now, never underestimate United.

Agree completely, but when your opponent has much more to lose than you there's no point going for the draw.

I'd take a draw. I do think we have a chance, though. They're a much better side than we saw in that turdfest last night.

Take a draw? At home? Fuck right off. Win this and we go top of the league. Fuck accepting a draw at home.

No way would I be happy with a draw.
We're capable of beating them, and it's so important because it'll seriously put pressure on 'can't beat Liverpool to save his life' Moyes.

Let's twat them and stay at the top of the table.

No chance. A win is needed. They are nowhere their best at the mo so no excuse not to beat them

A draw wouldn't be a bad result at all for us but as said, they've got more to lose than us so we may as well go for broke.

Fuck a draw. I want us to keep our 100% record going for as long as possible.
That said, we need to keep RVP in check and not give the ref even the slightest opportunity to give them any penalties.

Who's the ref btw?

It's not so much keeping RVP in check, as it is cutting out his supply. If he's not getting fed, he doesn't score. Simples.
