The instant Allen came on, we started holding the ball in the middle much better. That was good to see.

Other than that, this game shows how far this team is from fulfilling Rodgers' vision. Barca reserves play like Barca and look like Barca. Our 2-teamers have no inkling of an idea how to play possession football. Not at all.

Not really our reserves though. This is the difficulty of giving a game to all the players on the fringe. The reserves play together and know each other's moves/tendencies. Wholesale changes like this generally result in a less fluent display.

To me he looks weak(regularly strugged off the ball) his touch isn't great, he's average on the ball. He has pace and can get up and down the pitch but apart from that, there's nothing there.

I agree, he's only 18 though, so he'll get better.
