I think I should just move the Relax sign to the toilet. You should put Shit and Piss above the toilet then.
I'm the same tbh, I have hope, & belief that something *could* happen, but know that the chances of it are extremely remote.I'm in no way prepared for anything other than a city victory. If we somehow win the league today it'll spend much of the next week in a daze.
Look at how many they lost at home...Brighton lost 19 games in the league. Unless they put in a heroic defensive performance, City bottle it, and they get a huge amount of luck.
I just don't think City will bottle it. There's experienced winners all over that team.
Synchronisity, the universe coming together to create the best of all possible chances. My nan is sat downstairs reading the Sunday papers. The Mirror, I think. Anyway, she turns the page and there's a photo of a modern day fucking Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair standing there!
It's a sign, lads!
Of what, I don't know, like.
I hope the earphones matchedI remember the murmur that went around the ground when Villa conceded late on, while we were beating QPR at home to win no.18, it was enhanced by a few plus points:
- the guy who sat behind us with a tranny & earphones, who'd annoyed the fuck out of us all season calling out random scores, couldn't tell us what was happening as his batteries had gone flat
- the group beside us who always left early to beat the traffic, had just left saying "We'll see us win it on Wednesday" (the day of our next fixture)
I’m going to enjoy the day regardless of what happens.
Won't they give updates during our match ? I'm sure they usually minimise the game being shown and show goals from the other match and then an updated table. Was thinking this earlier. Sky always take a minute or two to update scores, & streaming is even more laggy. I don't want to listen on the radio & watch our match as it awkward, but is obv an option (thankfully I still have one old style radio in the house just used for decorating, as the delay on online radio is worse than a video stream (it's almost two minutes at times!)
I could run our match on the projector & their on the TV, but to get it live I'd have to run a hdmi cable from the cable box in the other room to the av receiver which is a lot of messing, & possibly bad luck as I've not watched any of our games on the projector.
As such I think I'm gonna just put the other match on in the toy room, I can see that if I look over (glass doors) so I can keep an eye on it without distracting from our match.
If it finishes with just the one point difference then both would have been worthy Champions.I think we've seen the effect on City the last few games - Pep has looked agitated and nervous, and its seeped into this team ... Heck 4 CBs against Burnley?!?! They're nervous but they're winning every game regardless ... That's how good they are ... Worthy champions unfortunately if they don't fuck up.
They do, but it's often a minute or so later, for obv technical reasons. I assume the latest virgin & sky q boxes can do split screen anyway though, my third party box is five years old & can do it, but only has one cable tuner so one would have to be iptv & obv delayed.Won't they give updates during our match ? I'm sure they usually minimise the game being shown and show goals from the other match and then an updated table.
Are the games on Sky or BT?
Just bought a now tv day pass, last time I did this was the City game.
