So Wednesday then?
Im honestly trying to think how we can change the side for the better from what we saw today. Its that fucking horrific.
I think that would have been my best team today. I really do.

right, I'm not picking on you particularly Oncy, but that line "today's side against Bolton was exactly the one I would have picked too!" is one I've read quite a few times, as if indicating that Dalglish did all he could.
This is also an extension of Rosco's mantra that the key to management is in buying good players.
It's rubbish.
Good management is getting the absolute maximum out of what you've got. sure buying better players helps, but to seperate the decent managers from the every good ones you need to be able to train, motivate and educate the players you've got better than anyone else.
4 cases in point:
1 - United last year. Ferguson won that fucking league for them off his own back. He's a genius at getting the most out of players, and making superstars out of good players.
2 - The current Sunderland side under O'Neill. Look at the transformation they've amde under a better manager. No money spoent, and he's turned that side around attitude and formation wise.
3 - Mourinho at Madrid. A side inferior to Barca, and they're going to win the league.
4 - Redknapp at Spurs. Took them over when they were bottom of the fucking league, has spent less than what we have and his side are the best to watch in the league and could win the fucking thing.
Dalglish's side and squad aren't fucking horrendous. they should be doing better than they are. Right now what I see is a midfield that overplays, a largely disjointed attacking philosphy that is far too reliant on one or two players rather than any imposed style, and absolutely zero ability to change tactics or approach when things aren't going our way./
That has nothing to do with transfer polucy or team selection, it's just rank awful management in my book.
