Yeah, Lucas is the best DM in the league and Origi is the best young striker. Mignolet is a top quality goalkeeper and Sakho is one of the most talented centre backs around.

There's obviously loads of factors many of which have been posted already so I'm not going to bore everyone posting them again.
You're obviously going to stay obtuse so there's not much point.
No one is saying we deserve to be above Spurs but saying there is some sort of massive gulf in class is wrong though and everyone knows it.

I'm far from convinced that we will win this one. Not because we're shit, but because Spurs are really good. Saw them play at citeh not long ago and they were better all over the park. Solid team with a top striker who consistently bangs them in.

Spurs had more or less the same side last year but were in transition. We're in transition this year. Its not as black and white as us respectively being the 2nd and 9th best teams in terms of quality. In terms of form yeah. The case in point would be Chelsea this season, in comparison to last. A teams quality isn't measurable solely by league position. Spurs have had two great players in awesome form this season, the rest of the usual suspect teams have been inconsistent, we have a few shit players holding us back and a manager still making his mark. On our day we can beat them, just like we beat City, Chelsea, Leicester and United this season

Confirmed #LFC team v @SpursOfficial: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Can, Henderson, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Sturridge.

Lovren/Sakho is good news, midfield is hard working and no Lucas, front three are fine.

I see Herr Klopp is going with one goalkeeper, several defenders, a few midfielders and perhaps one, two or three up front.

Interesting formation. I bet he's told them to try and put the ball in the goal more times than spurs.
