Midfield was thrown together today. Surprised he left the Ox out. Tactical error by the Boss. Morton was left trying to cover as Keita and Milly were joining in the attack. It gave Spurs a clear run once we lost possession. But we lost a bit of intensity, energy in the second half.

The front 3 esp Mo second half just didn't spark as much as normal. Jota is a live wire but when Mo is off blob the front 3 are just a bit ordinary.

It was bad but you're forgetting a game at the same stadium a few years back and 7-2 vs Villa
This was worst than the Spurs few years back because that was all on 1 man and when he went off we looked better.

Today the whole game we looked like shit as a collective unit, couldv'e easily conceded 5.

Yeah because that's the only other alternatives isn't it? Idiot

your post is that of an idiot mate.
he's had a few shaky moments, but he made several WORLD CLASS saves today that few goalies make ... and that's we had a chance to win today.
Who the FUCK do you want to replace him with?
I mean give me some realistic options and how we'd afford it, and if you can't, then just take your post back.
We all make terrible posts sometimes, own it.

We really weren't. Spurs should have been out of sight.

This is where City's squad always comes up trumps though, Pep and his £300m bench, while everyone else hits a brick wall.
We were robbed by the refs, not arguing we didn't play well enough, not surprising considering who we were missing and the fact we're playing a team who's just has a midseason break, but not sending off Kane, and not giving us a stonewall penalty defined that game. Spurs wouldn't haven't been in the game with ten men, we'd have easily controlled it, the reason they were so dangerous is because they were three vs three against our back three and our pressing midfielders couldn't choke the supply, if its two vs three at the back their threat is completely nullified and we boss the game.

You do have a point.

He doesn't stop at any moment and was about to shoot . Why would he stop when the opening was great for a shot .

where did he say that?
seriously?
you have a 1v1 with keeper and you 'stop' to get a penalty? Huh?
Honestly this left me baffled, that fact is he was shaping up to shoot, it's clear as day in the replays, but for the sake of argument let's say he wasn't an he was stopping, so fucking what, does that give the defenders the right to trip a player? It's an all around nonsense decision.

The ref is obviously a mong for missing it, but that can happen. What's criminal is that VAR doesn't give it.
The ref was looking right at the Jota incident.....it's not a mistake, it's a fucking atrocity......people get murdered for less.

At least the referee's reasoning gets to be discussed. Far too often they've hidden behind a veil of silence.

Ref needs to be stripped of his duties. I’ve said it before but the most frustrating part of these situations is the sheer lack of accountability.

Spot on Alli kept us in that game otherwise we would be proper fucked. Yes he made that mistake but at the same time i lost count of the number of times he was called into action to keep doing that. Also why the fuck do we keep doing the same shit when we take the lead ? Just control the game like we did when we went down to 10 men. We seem to be intent on keep attacking no matter what. Finally Salah had like the shittiest game I have ever seen him play. Dont think he did anything.

Today was a case of "Lads, Liverpool haven't got VVD"

Its painfully clear that VVD is as important to the shape and style of our team as Mo Salah is. With VVD I don't think Spurs come at us the way they did at times. VVD reading of the game and his physique give our entire defence and midfield time to safely move up the pitch without worrying about counterattacks. Without VVD teams think "we got a chance".
Dont think VVD would have made a difference. The whole approach to the game was attack attack attack...fuck midfield ....let the young boy look after it.

It's taking all my @dantes scientific powers to not wish him to be injured ... What a fucking cunt.
Fuck him, Fuck Spurs, where's @Mystic ?

You don't understand my powers at all, I wish that, I pray that he gets into a head on collision on the way home, with Tierney, ideally their cars are expensive enough that the safety features prevent them from dying on impact, so that they can both burn to death in the subsequent fire.
