Origi and Coutinho trained today and will be fit for the game.
Firmino and Benteke are major doubts and will probably miss out.
Henderson is back fit after being ill before the Saints game.

I'd go

Ming
Clyne Lovren Sakho Moreno
Henderson Can
Lallana Coutinho Milner
Sturridge

Only two outcomes are acceptable from this game, either we twat them 9-0, or we win 1-0 with Sakho controversially scoring a late 94th minute winner by bundling Danny Rose, Hugo Lloris and the ball over the line, in what's clearly a combination of a blatant foul and a blatant handball, but the referee isn't having any of it. I'm struggling to choose which option I'd prefer.

I'm not. If there could ever be such a choice, give me the 9-0 every time. Sure, it's nice to put one over on those Cockney tw@ts, but I'm a lot more concerned about what we do and how we do it than I am about them.

Mignolet

Clyne---Lovren----Sakho----Moreno

------Can-------Henderson---Milner

Coutinho-----Sturridge-----Lallana

Could be a very good game. They're clearly a better side than us and have many players I'd love to see play for us; Lloris, Delle Ali, Vertonghen (if fit), Kane, Alderweireld and probably Eriksen. But they don't have a great squad depth.

Nah, they've been much more consistent than us this season, impressively consistent in fact, but if both our best teams turn up, we'll win.

Nope but I'm sure nobody truly believes that Leicester are that much better than everyone else.
Because they're not.

"No but yes".

They're top of the league table because they've been better over the season. Who do you think has been better? Spurs? Arsenal? City? Chelsea? Us?

I think that Leicester probably have about the 9th or 10th best team in the league when everyone is injury free etc.
If they win the league they've deserved it but do you truly believe Leicester are better than any of the above mentioned.
Freaky shit happens.

I'll be a bit pissed off if these lot beat us. I really don't want Spurs winning the League.

So, the League table doesn't matter anymore? Blimey, that's a new one.
It's just a shame that we're always so much better in these hypothetical Leagues people invent than we are in the real one.

As for the game, we'll win. Fucking hate Spurs.

Leicester might win the league because of injuries? Seriously?

You think the league table is lying?
We've done this. See the Leicester thread.

The league table always lies as far as which team has the better players, or sometimes even team, because it's not so simple as who has gained the most points. Virtually no injuries, no Euro matches, out of the cups ... 2 weeks holiday when others have 4 games in 11 days, I'm not denigrating their performances, they have done superbly with what is at their disposal, and I want them to win the PL, but they obviously don't have the best players or team when all factors are equal.

We are going to get mullered. I'll still watch but I'll be hoping that we keep the score acceptable

No, they've had few injuries, kept focused, and haven't changed their manager, that's why they've been more consistent.

In the last 7 seasons Liverpool have finished above Spurs once.

They're a better team, and have shown it consistently, despite changing managers and playing staff more often than we have.
They're a better team than us now, and have better players.

Try a simple exercise: how many Liverpool players would get in their first team.
