Im probably going to get shot or thrown off the forum for this but i think David Moyes could do a good job here.

:-\

well, i'm not at all sure if i'd want him here, but i was wondering the other day whether he'd come here if we offered the job. it's an interesting one: he's pretty much taken everton as far as he can, none of the other big jobs are on the horizon (some would say man utd but i'd be surprised if they went for him, even with ferguson's possible backing), and he's clearly ambitious.

so, would he take it? if we had new ('good') owners i think he'd find it hard to turn down.

I expected a lot of stick lol.

Yeah he wouldn't come but i think hes done/doing a fine job there.

Ferguson's done a fine job at United but I wouldn't want that cunt here either.

Rafa aims to see out Reds contract
Thursday 15th April 2010 11:12

Manager Rafa Benitez intends to see out the rest of his contract at Liverpool but his future could be decided by the club's financial position.

The Spaniard's agent Manuel Garcia Quilon also claimed an unnamed Chinese investor was interested in buying out co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett and keeping Benitez on as manager.

But if that did not happen then Quilon said the two Americans would have to find a solution to the club's current financial restrictions - Liverpool are currently trying to slice £100million off their £237million debt - to prevent Benitez considering his future.

The Liverpool boss has been linked with Juventus again this week, with the Serie A club reportedly having made him their number one target back in January, while it seems likely the Real Madrid post will become vacant again this summer.

However, Quilon said Benitez had a long-term commitment at Anfield.

"The intention of Benitez is to fulfil the contract that he has with Liverpool until 2014 but it's true that the club is subject to fluctuations in their financial situation," said the Spaniard's agent.

"They could influence the future of the club and therefore Benitez as well.

"The Chinese have an interest because they have called Rafa and told him that their condition for buying the club is that he continues as coach."

Quilon said Benitez remained a potential candidate for some of the top jobs in Europe but that there had been no discussion about him leaving Liverpool.

"For now (Real) Madrid have not made a move to sign him," he told Spanish newspaper AS.

I would keep Rafa here, if it ment that a Chinese investor would pump loads of cash into the club.

Tasty food either way

I want 'good national cuisine' to be one of the key attributes for our next owners

So that's the Middle East out

And Greece

And Mexico

Chicken Kiev would have to be Ukrainian surely?

The Vodka makes up for the shit food though.

No doubt this is the moment that someone pops up and tells us that Chicken Kiev is a Western dish invented by Bird's Eye or something.

Which doesn't excuse me not knowing where Kiev is.

Yes. I think this is pretty likely.

Processed Chicken Kievs are among one of the most vile culinary creations I can think of, though Tesco's finest meal for 2 version come with my hearty recommendation!

Many around salford think moyes is their next manager.

I have thought this for about 2 years after reading some interview Ferguson gave.
He rates Moyes highly and wants him to get the gig.

The Richest man in the world is a Mexican Telecom giant, although I think he's getting on a bit so will probably have popped his clogs by the time the Yanks sell up

So we're all in agreement that the reason the Yanks have failed is due to their poor cuisine.. Shall we have the celebratory 'Yanks are finally out' meal at Frankie and Benny's or TGI's?

I agree, I think the next manager after Ginsoak will not see out the season. Six months, gone.

Which is why I'll be surprised if it turns out to be Mourinho.
