We always seem to follow the Red Sox, they won the World Series and their best player just left to sign with their arch rivals the Yankees.

So - we're going to win the league and he'll sign for United.

Except it'll be for Real Madrid cos we'll win the league & then be their biggest competition from the CL in 2014.

Depends on who comes in for him, but I'm guessing he's got some agreement with the club that he can leave if we dont qualify for the CL and the right bid comes in. Real appaz want Aguero. Its Bayern or PSG or nothing imho. We're not gonna sell him to an English club. Hopefully he'll stay and sign a new contract and play CL footy at Anfield.

Yeah there are only a couple of clubs who can afford him and they all have alternative targets. Hopefully his reputation will scare them off.

Who can afford him?

PSG - they have Zlatan and Cavani. One has to leave for them to pursue I feel.
Bayern - realistic as they don't have a striker of his class ... I'd sell but demand 2 of their younger studs (Kroos and that LB) in return.
Monaco - if they keep Falcao, doubtful. If not, then they'll spend on him if they make the CL.
Real - his preference probably, but I think it's more likely they get Zlatan and PSG get Suarez to partner Cavani ...
Barca - doubtful due to their financial issues

Anyone else?

Why would the club agree to that? It would then be in his best interest for us not to make the top 4. The club will have agreed he can go regardless of where we finish, for the right money.

[article=http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/05/luis-suarez-stay-liverpool-champions-league-norwich-city]Luis Suárez says he is "happy to stay" at Liverpool and wants to fire the club into the Champions League.

The striker had been determined to leave Anfield in the summer, with Liverpool rejecting a £40m plus £1 offer from Arsenal.

However, having scored another four goals against Norwich City in Wednesday's 5-1 rout to take his season's tally to 13, Suárez says he is only concentrating on helping the club finish in the top four.

"I think we can achieve what we set out to do," the Uruguayan, who became the first Premier League player to score three hat-tricks against the same side, told Marca when asked about Liverpool's Champions League chances. "My aim is just to help make the team better. My job is just to score the goals that mean we keep winning games and get as high in the table as possible.

"I am happy to be in the Premier League, the best league there is. I am happy here and I will stay. I don't know about challenging for the title, but we want to be as high up in the table as possible and do as well as we can. I think we can achieve our target."[/article]

He'll definitely leave next summer.

Get the 100M or whatever for him, and go and buy 10 Borini's.
