I've changed my mind, i love this lad now.
He tries his heart out, has a great attitude, doesn't moan about being played out of position and when he scores his passion and eagerness to do well comes out.

Ok, he has a long way to go but there's definetely a good footballer there.

He needs to do what he did today more often.
Started this season well. Makes forward runs, gets into the box, doesn't hide like he did in his first season.
Might turn out well for him.

Oh he deserves huge praise for how he's coped and come on. He did remind me tonight of a young David Platt - great engine, deceptively good technique, very positive attitude and a vital goal. He's growing into a really interesting attacking midfielder.

Also some credit is owed to Rodgers for playing him instead of Allen. Few managers would do that in his position

He's always played with the qualities you've listed. The only thing he ever lacked was confidence, but that's been growing and growing ever since the back end of last season.

Good player, but he'll have to keep improving and keep making an impact if he's going to be part of a Liverpool side which is going to force itself into the CL.

I like him because he can do a bit of everything which is what you need from a modern day CM. I just hope his versatility doesn't hinder his progression.

He's been steadily improving for 10 months now.

Delighted for him and the passion he shows when he scores is like a fan on the pitch.

I hope he can kick on and demand a place week in week out.

Couldn't agree more with what's been said, definitely our most improved player. Think he's striving under Rodgers' system hats off to him.

Should have left the celebration in that gif, I love his celebrations. Daniel Sturridge pay attention, your dance is shit.

I'm a big Henderson fan but I don't think he has been particularly good so far this season, even his fitness seems a bit below par. Should be more to come from him and hopefully that goal will help.

I'm loving the new Henderson. He was brilliant last night when he came on. That goal was an absolute beauty. And as Gary mentioned, I love the passion he displayed during his celebration.

I completely stand corrected on my earlier opinions of him. Ok, he still has a lot to learn, but he's showing some really good signs.

He has been miles better with Mr. Rodgers at LFC but I'm still not fully convinced.

I will say, seeing him flip shit after all of his goals is quite awesome though.

He'll bag at least 10 goals this season I reckon, which is remarkable progress from where he was in his first season with us. He really is blossoming into a good addition. Time will tell if his all round play is enough for us, but he's capable of giving us added goals from deep, which is something we're sorely lacking beyond the front four players.

He's a good lad and a tryer, but he's like Allen - I can't see a spot in the first team for him, so he might end up being an under-utilised squaddie where he'd a star player for a mid-table team.
If he's happy to stay a bit-part squaddie though, he's well worth keeping on to.

Henderson is doing everything in his power to make it here. Fair play to him. He's kept the head down and worked hard. He doesn't drink or smoke and is believed to be an excellent trainer. He came back one preseason with an obvious increase in size and strenght. He is techinally sound, energetic with exellent running power. His passion is now unquestionable and some of his celebrations have been a pleasure to watch.

I gave him a hard time initially as I felt he didn't have the personality to express himself on the field for us. He coasted through games being a steady eddy which wasn't good enough considering what we paid for him and the fact he went straight into our first team. I still think he should have been used sparingly in his debut season with us and as a result afforded the time to build confidence slowly.

Thankfully, the confidence is brimming and I would start him against United on Sunday.

I really like Henderson. I hated him at first, as I thought he played it safe a lot, but to be fair he was being played out of position, but he also seemed overawed at playing for Liverpool. He's buckled down, worked hard and at the moment more than merits his place in the team. Like many here I love his goal celebrations. The sheer joy on his face when he scored against Arsenal last year was great.

He is first team material , we just have our skipper in his way. I expect Jordan to have a long career with us.

Jordo-hendo will be a the spine of our club when Gerrard hangs his shoes...if you have ever seen him U21, he can boss the show. He just needs to play regularly and I can see him getting 10 goals in all competitions this season. I will say play him and Allen together in all cup matches, except the big ones like manyanitied.
