We've won 11 of the last 21 games. Trent, Gomez and Firmino look burnt out mentally. We just arent on the same level we were for 2 years from Jan 2018 to Dec 2019.
We are still winning/competing on the back of a couple of outrageously good players, but the team is not functioning as a whole anymore.
Can't say I agree with that. We played very well against Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton (and even in parts against Leeds), so that's all but one of our PL games this season.
There was simply no press at Villa (plus the ridiculously high line over the HW line). Inconsistent is what we have been and that is probably down to a few players not yet being up to speed or off their game. Specifically TAA, Firmino, Adrian and Gomez, carrying one player we can do, carrying 2-4 isn't on for any team.
Agreed - i can't remember who I saw tweet it but the reason we see that and think its saveable is because Alisson would. However you see tons of powerful headers going in past GKs like that as it is a pure reaction save.

So, Henderson could be charged by the FA because of his comments about VAR after the game. But Pickford wont be charged or get a suspension cause VAR looked at the tackle and deemed it not worthy of a red card. Great job Coote. You did stellar work as the VAR ref this weekend.
I think we eased off before we won the league, mathematically at least.
Its hard to say what our level is at the moment, we looked unbalanced against Leeds, excellent against Chelsea and Arsenal, abysmal against Villa and cheated at Everton.
