Clyne loan to Bournemouth Complete

In that case I vote for Harry Kane. In fact it would explain why his mouth is always open - with fucked up nostrils he can no longer breathe through his nose

Sowankeee off to the south coast too

Permanent Deal.. Will obviously include a buy back option and/or sell on fee

I don't get the surprise or concern that Clyne's gone. In the short term there's TAA, Gomez, Milner and Fabino who can play there. And in the longer term, there is absolutely no way Klopp wants to block the progress of Hoever by buying another experienced RB. Hoever is simply progressing too quickly, and too well, to make us spend on that position. Then there's the rumours about Clyne - I've no idea if any are true, but either he's got a hell of a fragile back, or something else is up.

Bournemouth are at home to City in March, so giving them a couple of decent players that will be able to settle in by the time that fixture comes around is not the worst idea in the world.

Just because our right hand side was raped last night, it doesn't mean their one has to be as well.

Doubt he'll leave to sit on the bench. And we're alright at CB when Gomez and Matip return
To be fair, he can fight for the spot. A great 6 months doesn't mean Gomez is forever brilliant.

And I love joemez

Agreed and I like Lascelles a lot but it just doesn't make sense for them to sell him now (or for us to buy a CB in this window).
But if Newcastle get relegated we should be all over him in the summer

My feeling as well.

He looked reliable in his comeback game. He was never that good going forward but he was reliable in defence. Really don’t wanna see Gomez back at rb, the Napoli performance was painful. As a Cb, Gomez has been outstanding

Of all the players Klopp inherited, I always felt Clyne was the one who never really bought into the new ethos. He rarely seemed happy, didn't seem to develop in terms of his game and never sounded that positive in interviews. In a way he owed us a bit more loyalty, seeing as he's been paid for a year to sit around (and he spent some of that getting into unpleasant-sounding spats in and outside night clubs), but a move seemed inevitable.

There seem to be a lot of excitment about that young lad Hoever.
Looks like he might be included in the squad to face Wolves as well.

Heard much about him Macca?

This is what I thought too. Who else can we dispense with that will help other squads cope with City?

It's pretty much all an open secret - he's dazzled in training, looked preternaturally mature and composed in reserve games and just seems hugely exciting as a prospect. Sometimes you get someone of that age and you just think, wow. He's one of those.

Strange decision. I absolutely love Clyne.

Would have liked him against Sane yesterday.

We are very thin on quality at the bsck now in the full back positions.

What a bargain for them.

Give them Wilson, Woodburn too please!!

Fair enough to move him on so. Shame that he didn’t buy into it as he was clearly a very good defender

Yeah read an article about Hoever that he's playing well above his age bracket. Good to see someone on here that's seen him play. I imagine that big Virg is an idol to him.

What age was Rob Jones when he made his debut against the mancs for us? 19/20 I think. So a bit older but I think of that debut when I think of this lad. He's got lots to learn, of course, but he just seems so much older than his years. And the sooner he starts, the sooner Trent will have the chance to prove himself as a midfielder.
