I know what you're saying but anything that increases Liverpools chances of winning a trophy is a good thing as far as im concerned. The quicker Fabregas fucks off to Spain the better.

Diaby is a very good player but as you said he doesn't have a position to call him own or stake claim too. I think he has a bit of steel about him so deploying him in the centre would be probably his best chance to excel if he is given the chance. I'm still angry at Wenger for playing Diaby on the wing against united in the CL semi with Nasri taking a more central role. I remember thinking it made so sense at all and united ripped them apart.
