So with Andy beginning to find some form just as Suarez comes back, what does Kenny do next? I'd love to see them given a proper run together.

Kuyt should be sacrificed from the front line tonight for suarez.

Suarez and bellers work rate with carrolls flick ons should be amazing

Well Suarez could play the Bellers or the Kuyt role from tonight.

Both Bellamy and Suarez are versatile to the pivot of Carroll.

who do we drop though? kuyts gonna score if we play him, bellers has to play as much as he can, and obviously we play suarez

I'd play Suarez ahead of Kuyt but people need to remember he wasn't exactly lashing them in before his ban.

Very true, but he was always isolated so he had to shoot on sight, ideally with the mobility of bellers and the increased ability of carroll it might work

I do like that line-up a lot but I doubt we will see a 4-3-3 against Spurs. They have one of, if not the best midfield's in the league. I'm guessing we line up 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 to try even things out in the middle of the pitch.

If you're going to play Carroll, then you need Bellamy alongside him more so than Suaracist.

Yep. Most definitely.

Wow Breden was such a big influence on you, you still try to copy him, even down to the name changes

I'm not that confident about the Spurs game.

I'm not confident about it at all.

Carroll has probably just about forced his way into the team over the last two games; Suarez and Bellers have to play though so maybe you play the three of them.

Gerrard in behind with Henderson or Charlie (who played pretty well tonight) and Spearing (who also played very well tonight) in the Lucas role.

Pretty narrow but it's not like we've been setting the league afire with our wide play anyway.

I think he will go with his three centre backs thing with Jamie playing in front of the other two and Kelly at RB again

regards

Our midfield concerns me. Other teams seem to be able to waltz through it with far too much ease. Thankfully our defence has been in brilliant form but come the summer I'd be looking to address this even taking into account the return of Lucas.

Wouldn't be surprised if Carroll's on the bench against spurs .....he really shouldn't be , we have to try and make this work but i'm not sure Kenny is convinced he can work with suarez .

Some aspect of our midfield has been concerning me since 2009. Lucas concerned me. The combination of Mascherano and Lucas concerned me. This year, Lucas has concerned me least of all our other midfielders. Don't see that as a particularly positive sign.

For the most part, any midfield three combination we've put out in the last 10 odd games has looked disjointed, or lacking any sort of tactical philosophy.

It certainly needs to be addressed in the summer regardless of the shape or form in which Lucas returns to the team.

With Bellamy, Carroll and Kuyt all in form, Suarez should have to earn his place back in the team. He wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders before his ban.

He won't though, I imagine Kuyt will be dropped.

With Carroll finally finding a bit of form and confidence, Kenny simply has to continue to play him.

For me in the main it's Carroll and Suarez, with Bellamy added in when fit to play. It might seem harsh considering his form of late, but Kuyt should be the man to miss out.

Yeh, keep him as an impact sub. We should play Suarez, Carroll and Bellamy in a 4-3-3 against Tottenham, we'll need to be strong in the middle to counter the effect of Modric etc and we'll need a strong hard working attack, all three of them will cause Spurs a very different problem if they all turn up and play their game, if Carroll plays as he has been the last few games against Tottenham and we win, he'll be permanently a favourite in my books.

Only thing i'd say is maybe Kuyt will be added for extra protection against Bale, as I'm sure Jabba the Hut will tell Bale to target him (Johnson) as a weak point.

Actually considering Bellamy's fitness it should be quite straight forward to keep all of his front men reasonably happy.

We could just keep the form players in plus Suarez

-----------Gerrard---------Adam

Kuyt-------------------------------Bellamy

-------------Suarez
-------------------------Carroll

Maybe swap Hendo for Adam until he gets back to his best.
