it's all well and good mocking rafa but just last season he finished second missing out on the league by a mere 4 points (beating manu and chelsea home and away) in a season where many liverpool fans claimed 'he'd lost the dressing room' (after the m'bro) defeat.

I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I have been informed, by a rascal who still follows the Grand Pooh-Bah Dunk around, that the Fat One has 'revealed' that his contact - Bascombe or Maddock, I suppose - has told him that Rafa has 'lost' the dressing room, and, in particular, Torres and Gerrard. I don't know if this means he is bad at hide-and-seek, or doesn't know they're on international duty, but, understandably, poor Dunk is anxious to stress that revealing this sorry state of affairs causes him nothing but money. I mean heartache. Causes him nothing but heartache. And a substantial bet has been made with a deserving charity in mind.

we've lost four games this season, won the rest

1. spurs - dreadful opening game and a really harsh opening fixture to be given.
2. villa - we were undone with horrendous marking for a corner and then was caught repeatedly on the counter.
3. we meet a very good italian side and credit must go to them
4. a tight game spoiled by two defensive slips

other than that the football at times has been wonderful. we haven't suddenly become a rubbish team.

As for me on this fine lunchtime I just invested 3.50E in a jamon y queso bocadillo, it was very tasty i assure you, and i paid for most of it with my own cash as well.

Although i'm not too keen on Jamon serrano, i prefer that italian proscutiiototo stuff but i'm sure they make it the same way its just the spanish stuff seems a bit sweatier, or that could just be when the sandwich was made this morning.

Spurs we were wank and looked miserable, spurs to be fair played pretty well also, it was a tough opening fixture it is true but nonetheless it was unacceptable.

Villa was spurs mark II, we looked the better team but conceded a SHIT free kick and then own goal via a complete stand in player. Also unacceptable.

Fiorentina were really top notch for the first half of that game, rafa takes some blame for this one, so often he gets it right but he got it wrong, i think maybe the players had an eye on Sunday as well. Thankfully we did have a good reaction second half.

I thought we matched Chelsea on Sunday but didnt take our chances and they sneaked it.

For my money i'm not really arsed about the Fiorentina game as i'm sure we will get through, the Chelsea game only upset me because it was against Chelsea and i fucking hate them not because the performance was anything terrible.

Villa pissed me right off, but we were still cold at the start of the season as with the spurs game ... and with Lucas in the stead of a recently departed player... which made me angrier....

So far it aint disaster and its WAAAAAAAAAAY to early to worry yet, we could do with a nice easy gimme game coming up to get back on track and Sunderland away isn't that but i think we've already played some nice stuff this season, and looking at whats happening every team is going to lose a fair few this year IMO.
