I'm really not arsed neil.
I bet you can't!just as well as I'd only be able to keep it up for a week. 😉
I'm sick of all these Pathé-generation fans wanting a bit of patience for Kenny. Aga-style thinking at its worst.
There are some that are sick of the microwave knee-jerkering generation as well. Think it was called Angry Teenager syndrome.I'm sick of all these Pathé-generation fans wanting a bit of patience for Kenny. Aga-style thinking at its worst.
I could never get with Subbuteo. I can't imagine a more fruitless way for a young man to spend his time than perfecting the precision flicking skills required for success.
I got slightly involved on a similar, more magnetic version.
That was jarg too tbh
How the fuck do we have a "better squad player for player than Man Utd" by the way?
Corrected that for you mate
liverpool are no where near manu with regards to squad depth. we lost agger and lucas and dropped down the table, manu could lose the equivalent players and cope much better than we have.
I also agree with mark that we are much better than the table suggests, there have been far too many games where we didn't get what our performances deserves. examples are city, manu, arsenal at home and stoke away. we need to learn to clinical because in a lot of games we've created more than enough chances to win by half time. difficult to know if in the summer we can fix enough of our problems to challenge for CL as I suggest the likes of chelsea, arsenal and spurs will improve further.
"Nowhere near" is an exaggeration in terms of basic footballing ability. The difference between their squad and ours isn't that theirs contains far better players. It's that they consistently get the best out of theirs, and we're not doing the same with ours. We've shown against the top sides this season what we ARE capable of when our players rouse themselves to play to their potential.
That is certainly part of it. They have a way of playing and a winning mentality that makes it easier for squad players to come in when they have injuries and suspensions.
However, quality of players must play a part too. I'm sure most of our players could in theory go into the United side and do well, but how many of them would be stand-out, star players? Gerrard a few years ago would have been, and maybe Suarez now, but no-one beyond that really.
You could argue that Reina and Agger would make the United team.
