Haha! I was thinking that - Fat Sam = points for UtdHahaha. Yeah, cos fat Sam has always given Utd hard games....
Rooney will have a point to prove though.

I don't think he's simply sulking.
He's not playing in his favoured position cos salah is tearing it up there, & he's coming back from a muscle injury which has to be treated very carefully & means he can't use that explosive pace as much, his muscle reactions are slower & he's forced to play a little within himself.
It's hardly surprising we're not seeing the best of him.
Just saw him interviewed after. He said he was feeling ill, and looked it, too.

Nah, the balls into him was poor and so was some of the movement of the other front 2.Mane was sulking for the entire match the drama queen.
Great goal though.
No Hendo.
No Salah.
No Mane.
Probably no Coutinho.
That forward line on Friday is gonna look similar to today & probably play as poorly too.
Midfield will almost certainly be the same too.
Yeah, and Solanke loses the ball A LOT when holding up the ball.
Again, it’s probably unfair on him because players around him today were really static, and he had loads of Burnley players on him the moment he received the ball.
But that again is the reason I find his style unsuited to us.
Why no Coutinho, you think he'll be sold to Barca or something? He was rested today to play against Everton (alongside Firmino), Mane was subbed early so he can start too, Milner will start in midfield and Robertson back at LB. We will have a stronger lineup than we were able to field against Burnley after playing on Saturday.
Coutinho is meant to be carrying a knock & hasn't been training. That may change obv.
Mane flies back from Africa Friday morning. I struggle to see Klopp playing him at all that evening, never mind starting him.
Firmino starting will be better than today obv, Robertson seems good, but for all his brilliant crossing against Everton last time they dealt with it time & again & it actually seemed to be what they wanted & expected to deal with.
Friday will not be fun, & it will not be pretty.
If we're lucky, fat Sam will treat the fa Cup like he usually does & try to get knocked out on purpose, but unfortunately he knows their fans won't stand for that.
He & Salah have an awards ceremony. Heard a piece the other day where a journo close to the club said that both players thought it was incredibly important to attend & that it's a way of Klopp showing them how much they mean to the club ahead of potential suitors coming in for them in the summer. Why is Mane going to Africa? I had no idea.

No, he definitely isn't. The Burnley CBs gave him a lesson today. If Sturridge goes to Southampton this week, there's no way we can let Ings go out on loan too. I'm all for giving young talent a chance, but as of right now Solanke is nowhere near ready is he?
Solankes confidence is in his boots.
Pre season he looked raring to go, only for him to have to wait a while before he got any decent minutes. As time has passed he's trying to force play too much, or the nerves are hindering his touch
Similar to crouch years ago, he just needs one to fluke in

If that had stood the pressure would be off and I'm sure we'd be seeing a different playerHe did actually score a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately (IMHO) it was a "winner" that was unfairly ruled out.

Hes young and up against a very well drilled defence that dont give you an inch. At least he is battling ... something which our other forwards cant really bring to the game.He was pretty shit today. Look, not putting the ball in the nets is one thing, that's tough. But losing pretty much every arial duel and largely failing to hold the ball up– that's not acceptable. He's not ready yet.
