Really ? They had a perfectly good goal ruled out, hit the post and side netting - on another day we would have been beaten - by Bournemouth ...at home. Tbf I thought they were fantastic very well organised and full of energy till the final whistle.
I don't think anyone is saying LVG's team is any better or worse than us. Except we, and them, have 2 wins and 6 points. Which team below us would say "yeah, they may have more points than us but we've played better"?
Except it wasn't another day and we didn't get beat or draw.
Well I didn't think it was a perfectly good goal, cos Lovren was fouled. And those other efforts were pot shots from distance. I stand by it; they created very little for all their energy and nice pressing.

Two games in and we have 6 points from two games. Two clean sheets and we are still bedding in our big summer signing and our best striker is still out injured.
Our new signings who have started all look great, Clyne, Gomez, Milner and Benteke all have done well and put a marker down for their position in the team.
We play Arsenal next week where anything more than a spanking would be an improvement on most seasons there.
I love the fact that we are complaining about winning by playing poorly instead of talking about our rubbish defence and the fact we play nice football but drop points.
By the way the bitching of late is getting incredibly childish and ruining threads

Lovren bended Down like a chicken, and should have cleared that one. The foul inside the Box was when Skrtel did his usual dragging a player to the ground.

You're right were not gonna suddenly click and look like Barca but we've six points in the bag having been pretty poor so far. I'm hopeful that we can kick on from this and start to improve bit by bit.

Reading this forum this morning has almost destroyed whatever happiness I got out of that win. I like to think I'm no mewling wimp of a supporter, and that I'm fairly capable of seeing things from an objective point of view so I don't think anyone can criticise me for being overly optimistic. But really, the fucking moaning and agenda-driven rubbish throughout this entire place stinks.

Can understand the concerns though. We still look disjointed, and cant seem to control a game. Arsenal away next, and if we let Cazorla, Ramsey, Sanchez etc run the show we'll get battered.
I dont think I did call him a cunt Peter. I wasnt a fan at all, but I left my ire until after he left and supported him and the team in every match we played.
