When you're own fans doesnt want the manager to succeed. Fuck right off.

6 points is 6 points. Everyone knows we need to step up. Arsenal will be tough and we'll get teared a new one if we dont improve.

Liam that is crap. We were controlling fuck all. The entire second half was a goal waiting to happen.

Im not saying Moreno was the best choice, but at least he carried the fight.

It was when Hendo went off in my opinion.

Small change in our history of wastefulness.

While we're on it I don't see the Benteke was a beast nonsense and did Firmino touch the ball.

Yep, me and you alike sheikh. We were poor going forward as a unit. Add Milner to that too, seriously where are people seeing this greatness?

We'll get our annual tonking at the Emirates next week unless we improve ten-fold.

Lallana just isn't good enough. Lovren is a lunatic, as is Skrtel. Then you factor in the fact that there's no cohesion or style of play at all in this team. I can see it being like last season again, only a few more goals and points due to actually having a striker this season. Other than that not much has changed.

This is amazingly overly negative. Hindsight is great and all. It's two games in.

During the 13/14 season when Suarez was missing and we were bedding in new players, our first few games were hard fought, scrappy results and everyone hailed it as brilliance because we were able to get points while missing our best player and forging a team.

This season, Firmino, Can and Coutinho, arguably three of our best players, are still getting up to speed, we've won two scrappy games and now the World is caving in.

Our three best players yet teeth only plays one of them. Bravo Rogers, bravo!

Can, Firmino, and Coutinho don't fit into our 'best' team. Have you not noticed that yet?

Moreno was brilliant when he came on.

Yes he was, and I've been one of his biggest critics, but that's what you want to do with him at the minute. Build his confidence. Don't over play him, give him minutes here and there and not allow him to get sucked into drawn out games where he's liable to make a mistake. He came on, he looked sharp, was quicker to the challenge and unlucky with a great run.

Argue that the decision was wrong to bring him on, we needed someone to put their foot on the ball in the middle, but that was neither here nor there in respect to Moreno's performance. He came on, gave protection to Gomez and gave us an outlet.

We played well about 3 times last season and have carried on in the same vein. Yes bedding in new players, yes hard to tell at the start of the season, yes tricky opposition - but sometimes shit is just shit.

Can isn't one of our best players. Firmino we don't know enough about.

This is pathetic even by your standards. Three players who played in Internationals over the Summer and had a longer lay off. It'll be worth it over the course of the season. You must be devastated that we haven't played them, yet still won. The run of defeats that you Pete and Redninja were praying for haven't happened yet, ho fucking hum.

Please don't deliberately misrepresent me on here again.

In essence

Seriously though, I'd like to see either of them given a chance.

I honestly think if firmino isn't ready for a start, benteke and ings up top, with Coutinho behind next week. Benteke is just too isolated up there

I don't think we'll get any joy down the flanks, and we need to keep a watchful eye on several of their players

Diamond for me next week. Can behind milner and hendo, Coutinho at the tip
I don't know if next week is the correct game to change it up too much.
Going forward I'd like to see someone up there with Benteke definitely.
Firminho for Lallana and possibly Markovic for Ibe would be the two changes I'd make for Arsenal but it's obviously not going to happen.

Right, because you said it a few times over the Summer.

Who said we were great you verbally challenged moron?

All this talk of motm stuff from Milner being mentioned. Oh sorry you're a visually challenged moron, otherwise you'd have seen folks postings in this thread and the game thread.

I kind of wish Rodgers had the bottle to try something tonight. It didn't work vs Stoke, so I guess he was hoping people would come in to form, rather than blame the system.

In spite of a good performance, benteke is so isolated. He comes deep for the ball, but no one runs ahead of him. He wins a flick on high up, more often than not he has to control it, or pass it back to the centre circle.

It's like our attacking players are terrified to go past benteke.

Mertesacker will be a more than able challenge for benteke in the air. I just hope Rodgers has the balls to tell the attacking mids to attack

Before Moreno came on we'd settled the game.

Benteke did fucking nothing but I don't blame him because he can't play the single striker role.

Dress it up how you like but we were fucking shite. Bar one season under Teeth its the same old garbage.

I wouldn't say Benteke did nothing, but he was extremely isolated. When the ball eventually found its way to him, though, he did well most of the time. Not his fault there's no service and nobody around him. He played well considering.

What greatness? What the fuck are you on?
Seriously, do I need to spell it out to you? All this bollocks that Milner is a great MF and MoTM today that's been spouted around the various threads. He's bang average and overrated
