Murphy is a good shout, I was a bit gutted when he left. Still, he was very immobile and gave the ball away to many times for my liking. At leat when he played central midfield.
Strange that you compare him with Lucas though, Murphy has 9 extra years of playing in the Premiership.
Best player outside the top 4;
Barry, Arteta, Hangeland, Modric or Robinho.

All Brendan ever sees when looking at Lucas is a cunt.

You know what they say; Love makes us blind.

the best player has to be Robinho, no contest - he oozes class and would get in the starting XI of all the top 4, the guy has had a fabulous first season in england and still did it playing under Mark Hughes!!!!!!

Cahill, by a stretch.

It irritates me, but I'd have to agree. He's a wanker.

Does one pen make a good season? Humm I'll say no.
And I'm pretty sure Fulham fans fans won't give a fuck.

Some people haven't watched enough of Tim Howard this season obviously.

He's been fucking hopeless on plenty of occassions.

Murphy? u really are dumb arent u... Play murphy in a proper team and he would be lucky to make the bench.
he just looks good becoz he has shitter players around him

Goalkeeper - Given
Defender - Micah Richards
Midfielder - Ashley Young
Striker - Robinho

And Richards had a great season, didn't he? His transfer value now is astronomical compared to last year... Oh wait. It isn't. Big step back for him this year.

Hard to argue against Robinho. Think Murphy is doing a fantastic job at Craven Cottage and I'm thrilled for him though I don't think (nor do I think anyone here is advocating in favour of) he is suitable for the Big Four. I love Ashley Young. Barry is another of he top players. Cahill, Arteta....

I hate to sound like a scratched record but as Hangeland has been mentioned by at least 5 different posters I feel compelled to point out, good player though hangeland is, that Michael Turner at Hull is as good defensively, better in possession and scores significantly more goals ergo he's a better player.

Micah Richards?

Hmm, I think we have another weapons-grade moron to add to our list; the mighty zlatan
Quite. Another player massively overhyped by a couple of England caps a few years ago.

He's just a big athlectic lad with more than a few mistakes in him.

What about Schwazer? he's has a fantastic season?

Hangaaland, Schwarzer, Lennon, Modric, Young, Murphy,Arteta.

The above have all been very very good this season.

Ibangawhore has been woeful 2nd half.
John Carew, Phil Jagielka and Sanli Tuncay have been decent.

Yeah, Iboneawhore hasn't been able to stand up to the weight of expectation. He's also the most embarrassingly vacant interviewee you'll ever have the misfortune to cringe at, even for a footballer.

Jagielka's had a good season for his club but also looked out of his depth to me when called up by England. Carew and Tuncay are OK shouts though. Tuncay in particular deserves better than Boro.

Crouch has had a decent season. Hangeland, Jagielka, Robinho and Ireland too.

Great shout on Murphy though.

it's very difficult to say

there are a lot of players who stand out for their clubs but really aren't that great and wouldn't step up in a top 4 team, Robbie Keane was a good example.
