Being so astute, I'm sure (p)Rick Parry ensured that we get a share of his transfer fee should West Ham sell him.

Spurs need a pacy striker that can play on the counter. It's a pity they weren't so desperate when we were trying to get rid of him. Bellamy is the kind of flawed player that Redknapp usually does well with. It could work out good for them both.

Good player, but a gobby mentalist and doesn't score many goals
He scored plenty at blackburn and Redknapp obviously thinks he can get him back to that level. It wouldn't surprise me.

Yeh, 13 goals.

Drizzt in bollocks shocka.

His best ever season was at blackburnan and even that was hardly a flood of goals.

His average is less than 10

It was 17 goals in 26 games which is a pretty good record IMO. Better than one in two.

Mors in running off his mouth shocka before checking facts.

He was unplayable in the second half of the season at Blackburn - I'm sure that is what convinced Rafa to sign him.

On the whole however, he's one of those talented players that has never been able to find that extra level to reach the top. And he's a gobby mentalist on top of things, as said.

The only thing that surprises me about this is the price. The other week, he was valued, in the press, at around 6-9M, however since City have been reported to be interested, this has risen to 15M. Redknapp needs his head checking if he pays that much for Bellamy.

He no world beater that's for sure, but Redknapp will think he can get him close to his blackburn level.

I was really pleased when we signed him, but while he was hardly a disaster, he was a bit disappointing.

That said, I would have been happier to keep him than have eggnog or whoever

He's a good player, but needs the right manager to get the best out of him and his ego. Is he not a little injury prone too?

If we wanted to play a hard working striker in the right we should never gave sold him. Another waste,

Bellamy is, was, and always will be, a complete cuntpig no necked welsh goyt.

He is a liability injury wise and a total prick, here's some more fucking news he was offside more than fucking Cisse! The few positives he has to his game are always massively outweighed by his negatives.

If spurs do end up buying him for 15m then they are bigger fools than i thought possible.

According to SSN, they only bid £6mill.
For 6m he'd be reasonably good business I guess.

What I don't understand is why Spurs think that they need him; are they not well served with Palychenko (sp) and Bent? Would Bellamy really add anything to them?

Surely Spurs should be focusing on getting a DM who can win the ball and give Modrik some freedom.

His transfer fee amuses me. It almost always seems to be about the same level. £6-7mill (ish). And yet, he has been courted by other teams while playing well and with plenty of time left on his contract. You'd think he'd go for more than the fee suggested by SSN. Unless he really is only a very average striker, in which case why are clubs so often in for him? Are they only in for him because he's affordable? Surely he's better than Andy bloody Johnston who went for double figures.

Give over. He left the Toon precisely because he was being asked to play wide right. His toys would have gone flying out the pram the minute we asked him to do the same, closely followed by Bellamy's @rse through the door as Rafa would (rightly) not have tolerated that.
