So I'm hearing. Could be announced very soon.

Apologies if I'm quiffing, had a quick look but couldn't find any other thread.

We must be making some signings if we are going to let him leave, well I bloody hope we are

I like bellers. It was a mistake to let him go the first time, but it seems this is purely family related ... We'll miss him - on the pitch and off the pitch, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Good luck bellers.

This is a really bad joke and a terrible one at best. This reduces our strike force from something like 60% of the top rated clubs to a about 25%. We are really screwed up front after this. Say how good Suarez is - but he is a shit finisher, Carrol needs no intro, and none of us are expecting much from Borini. It kind of hits me that anyone with any talent wants to leave our club or is someone to be sold of. Are we finally heading in the direction of Aston Villa - after all these years of trying to look big - has our final day come where we do start to fade away for good. Relegation here we come !!!!

I hope he does well if he does leave, although i'm not too disappointed tbh.

He's 33 and we're clearly looking to the future. Hopefully the games that Bellamy would have played will be used to give valuable experience to some of our younger players.

Moron, with the greatest of respect, get a grip.

Reports are he wants to go home and had more or less said as much last season, that the view was him helping us out for the season. Rodgers has already come out and stated he would like him to stay, sometimes you can't do much about a players wishes, especially one who gives his all when he plays. It's a big loss but again, he's had his injuries too, his purple patch bailed us out a bit last season.

i wouldnt have been overly bothered before watching him in Team GB, but after it reminded me that he's still a great player, i was really hoping he could be convinced to stay, gutted

I'm surprised so many seem so negative about Borini. He strikes me as a great prospect and a shrewd buy by Rodgers. But I quite agree about the need for more options up front. It's making me really anxious.

Nothing against the lad Borini - but just don't expect much from him thats all. You could be right in that he turns out to be a great prospect and shrewd buy, but don't have much faith in Italians succeeding here.

I don't know that many *are* being negative about him. Moron's summary above is unfortunately typical of his glass-half-empty approach these days. Get a grip, Ahmed!

I like the look of Borini, but he looks like he'll need some work, he might prove a good finisher, but losing Bellamy, Kuyt and Maxi means we're losing what bits of creativity we had outwide.

Yup, don't really get it but hey, hopefully he's one of those 'humble pie' kinda signings.

Judge - did you see him in team GB ? - he was bossing the fucking show when he was on the pitch. However, as people on here are saying he needs to go for personal reasons - then I can't blame the club or player for this and good luck to him. However, Judge - your comment about glass-half-empty, well that is what the club appears to me these days, its emptying itself of potential creativity and striking options.

We must have something up our sleeve

Cold lose Carroll still, Bellers gone, dirk gone

Am I missing something, big news coming

Remind me what our main issue was last season, oh yes scoring goals

There must be a plan people 😕

Yeah I agree - He's done well for us on his two stints with the club. He's 33 now so if he wants to go fine. Maybe his leaving will mean Carroll is definitely staying....

Bellamy wouldn't leave for any other team than Cardiff. He's got his family there, his son is playing for the Cardiff youth/reserve team. Might be the first father son combo on the pitch since Gudjohnsen Sr and Jr.

This pre-season is spiralling out of control man.
Kuyt
Maxi
Aquilani
Bellamy
...
Agger
Skrtel
Carroll

for
Borini
...
Dempsey
Allen

Im really struggling to see what the fuck the grand plan is here.
