So I thought I'd share a small hobby of mine - Autograph collecting. I wonder if anyone has done this before? It's a bit of a silly thing to do but it's quite addictive and pretty cool when you strike gold.
You can buy online a list of literally every celebrity name you can think of - home and agents addresses. It doesn't cost much and as long as you include a stamped address envelope and a politely written letter more often than not you get a reply and an autograph. Sometimes you get personally written ones that are ace.
I've only ever sent about 50 letters in a 3 year period but I'd say 90% respond. Some to a bigger degree that others. Michael Palin wrote me back a really nice letter and signed personally written photo.
Of course some might just use their secretary to sign them and some just send facsimiles but generally it's all good.

Rolf Harris (He sent me two - Before his conviction)
Jude Law
Jamie Oliver
Richard E Grant (He signed his 'Withnail') 😀

Loads of others. Anyway I got one today from Brian Blessed which was a proper brilliant one. I asked him if he'd seen 'Ted' - He wrote me a really nice letter back saying yes and he loved it. Ha.
I only ever do it when I can be arsed and I realise it's very geeky but I honestly love it when I get a response.
