Don't get your hopes up. It's not worth your tiny, pathetic hearts being crushed. Again. And again.

I'm genuinely more confident of Villa giving them more problems.
They seem to raise it for the big teams.
Either way I'm clutching on the last straw that a grasshopper shat on.

Yeah, I reckon they could slip up in any of their three games.

I doubt they will, but there's nothing a given for them this season.

[article=http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/everton-could-hold-the-key-to-liverpools-premier-league-title-hopes--and-andy-gray-believes-fans-will-not-mind-if-they-lose-to-manchester-city-9297070.html]Andy Gray revealed on TALKsport that he believes Everton fans might not be too disappointed should they suffer a defeat this weekend, even if it ends their hopes of Champions League football this season.

“Peter Reid and I were talking about it last night and we think maybe Evertonians for once in their life may not be too upset if they get beat this week,” said Gray on the Alan Brazil Breakfast Show.

“The players will try and do their job the best they can but I've got a funny feeling many thousand Evertonians, for one week only, will not mind if they lose the game.

He added: “If they [Manchester City] win at Goodison, they will win the title.

“I don't think they will drop a point in their two remaining games against West Ham and Villa. I think the title rests purely on what happens at Goodison.”[/article]

Saw a poll on Grand Old Team 3/4 weeks ago about this scenario, it was roughly 1 in 5 fans that voted they would rather miss out on CL if it meant us not winning the league.

The more I think about it, the more I think Citeh will slip up or at least come very close to it in their last 3 games.

Everton - Its rare that they beat Everton at Goodison, let alone get a point regardless of how good either side is/what they're fighting for
Villa - Won at the Emirates, took 1 of the 7 points we've lost at Anfield this season, beat Chelsea at Villa Park - they're big game raisers
West Ham - City almost choked on the final day against a weakened already relegated QPR side a few years ago. They drew with 20th placed Sunderland when the pressure was on a couple games ago and lost to Wigan at home this season.

Keep believing!

I will be in Liverpool while this is on and it should be a weird scene.

Liverpool supporting Everton who will be supporting City.

Any pub recommendations? It will need to be fairly central and have nice beer. I am thinking Bier or Sound at the moment.
