He just joined

Doesn’t matter. He’s captain material and has been part of a winning mentality (granted its only Celtic but still) for years.

There are loads of players who became club captains as soon as they joined clubs.

He’s arguably the best choice in that current bunch. He’s not going anywhere.

I get all that, but he's young it's his first year in Arsenal and I don't even know if he's playing regularly.
Best choice imo is Bellerin.

What? He's 22, he's been there less than 6 months, joined a massive club like Arsenal from fucking Scotland - where he wasn't Captain of either club or country - and has played twice in the Premier League. In total.

And you think he should be made captain?

You're an idiot.

Dreamy has an incredible talent. He can carefully gather incorrect information and come to a demonstrably stupid conclusion quicker than anyone else on this forum.
Even when he accidentally hoovers up some actual facts, the end product is also the same.

It's remarkable.

I am having a miserable few days due to fucking nastiness at work - and I just want to thank you @Dreambeliever - you have just made me laugh properly ...
I am sincerely grateful.
Chin chin.

He’s a very established pro who has highly regarded when they bought him. He’s been in the discussion for the Celtic captaincy and already has the backing of the Arsenal fans. His gesture after the cup loss at Anfield was a great touch.

Sure if they weren’t a total fucking mess when he joined he’d be down the pecking order but they are so he should be in the conversation.

Matt Holland joined Charlton from the championship and assumed the captaincy before kicking a ball.

De Ligt captained Ajax at 19

Lascelles was made captain of Newcastle at 22 after one season.

None of which actually support your point in any way whatsofuckingever
