Who's in the wrong Fans or Player(Xhaka)

That's brutal.Getting jeered cause you took too long to fk off.

I remember a game we played and the opposite happened. We where hanging in the ropes protecting a lead, and the coach decided to make a change, partly to take down the immense pace in the game and give us a chance to regroup a little. The guy called off didn't catch the intention and sprinted off like I never seen anyone sprint before. Fromt he other side of the pitch. I think the game was back on less than 10 seconds from the original break in play.

They were cheering his substitution before he moved slowly. The fans are totally not on board with the team, manager, or the captain but even so it's shit support from them and then a horrible reaction from xhaka.

Yeah, it's all of this.

Nobody comes out of this episode looking great.

Which is great.

It sort of happened with Danny Murphy, he came on as a sub in his next match and scored the winner against United.

Some of our fans were also most annoyed with a Benitez decision to leave Alonso on the bench and start Lucas, so voiced their disapproval by chanting Xabi's name and also applauding when Lucas was subbed for Alonso.

May have been a few boo's in there too?

But generally, we don't do that.

As a bemused follower of Arsenal Fan TV and knowing a few Gooner fans - It's clear that Xhaka is pretty much reviled by a lot them. I don't know much about him as a player to give an opinion but he certainly acted like a tit. I can't remember many LFC fans booing off a player (certainly not the captain) Oh and before anyone mentions Babb I was at that game and it was more laughter and relief (he was shit that day) Getting taken off after squashing his nuts against the post was the kindest thing for him.

Thankfully one of the best things Klopp's brought is so much more patience from the fans. Not so long ago a lot of the Anfield crowd would be like Raz is on here, bemoaning everything, groaning, getting on players backs when things weren't working.....

I don't think he has bought the patience, I think the way he asks to the team to take the game to the opposition is why people are less likely to start getting frustrated with the team. In the past when we have had the more pragmatic coaches ( and for that matter those types of teams that produce mainly counter-attacking football), we have waited for specific moments in games to attack, but with Klopp I think he has bought back both possession and urgency into our game from his very first season and that means the team carries the same emotions as us fans who are watching (I know very difficult to explain ).

Under GH, and Rafa, there were issues when we were down and fucked we just could not get back into a game - and that came down to the style of play, which meant that the players had fuck all clue how to respond. The only saving grace during that period was having a born red leading the team on the pitch who felt that emotion and on numerous occasions drove the team to victory by his sheer will and talent (yes am talking about SG). I am so happy now that the person who is doing that now is our manager.

That car is amazingly garish, i like it in a 5 year old ‘that’s cool’ kind of way.

Reminds me of Crouchies book where he bought an Aston Martin and got a look from Roy Keane at traffic lights that told him he was a flash wanker, he sold the car shortly after.

Aubameyang is good, probably good enough to pull off that car but maybe he should keep it in the garage for a few weeks, Arsenal fans are on the warpath.

A notoriously unpleasant, ungrateful, solipsistic taunter of crowds. Sympathising with Xhaka. Figures. Another great thread, right up there with 'how many ex-players can you name in this crap old painting'.
Oh my...this guy needs help.
Like in Belgium.

He would be a good candidate for it but I can't recall that ever happening.
There were quite a few supporters around me booing Kewell coming off injured during the 2005 final. I was frustrated that he was once again injured but hated the fact our own supporters were booing a player that I’m sure was already distraught.

Not that I disagree with the decision, but good luck finding anyone better suited to the armband in that squad.

They announced Aubamayang as the new captain, that’s not going to end well

Why not?
They have no leaders and he's their best player.
Who else could they give it to?

Well Arsenal fans got what they wanted, Xhaka to be stripped and given to Aubameyang.

Lets see how this fares, Emery will no doubt still get all the blame when things keep getting sour.

Arsenal were begging for Ozil Pepe Auba and Laca to play together since August....they did and still couldnt win, and guess who got slated for picking the wrong team lol.

You cant win as a manager.

Not really imo. It seemed half arsed and fell short of what I would expect him to do. I suppose fair play for sticking to his guns but why bite the hand that feeds him?

Because some of them were out of order. You see above what some people said to him. I dont think he should have to grovel.
