Got to admit I am looking forward to this season more than I have in a long while. I think the ethos that Rodgers is bringing is going to good and refreshing for us as a team and as a club. Hopfully gone are the days of spunking £20 million on shite and replacing it with better quality hungry players....

I see you're just a well-known member now, just like the rest of us. Most of us suspected it all along.
Downings done ok under Rodgers from the limited viewings I've seen so far this year. I do worry about his final ball though it can be somewhat predictable. It's good to see so much positivity around but it is the start of the season.i hope that doesnt disappear fast though, especially as we've got a somewhat tricky start to the season

We all know it is a tricky start and for me as long as I personally some positive signs then I will be happy irrespective of results at the start, we won't win the league but I expect a better, more fluid attacking style and I will be happy.
I thought people went waaaaaaayyyyyyy overboard last year in a negative way but that is the way nowadays, everything is now now now....
I think because Rodgers is new, no connection to the club, young etc...peoples expectations aren't sky high, not becuase he isn't any good but because there is no expectation for them to be high and people will be moire forgiving....
Let's hope so mate. Given how far we've fallen, progress is the first step of a long journey.

I agree we weren't as bad as our league results suggested, we were very unlucky at times and we still beat the top teams last year. Like you I'm excited about the style of play and I'll be interested in seeing it evolve irrespective of results and judging it in those terms. Having said that we have it in us to achieve something this year.
