Only just came across this - a shining example of what a dick Pulis is. He said this straight after the game:

He would've known what our starting XI was, say, half an hour before the start? And he spoke straight after the 90 minutes. So presumably once he got the team sheet he got someone to total up the costs. In spite of knowing that without Benteke the difference wasn't that big at all. What a cynical and petty little twit he is, to always be looking for that kind of 'poor me' excuse. And yet he still can't figure out why even his own supporters get sick of his small-minded ways.
